5my favourite second cleanse, leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped, lovely texture and smell. i absolutely love this stuff!

Wonderful cleanser
5I adore this cleanser, even after only a few uses. Texture-wise it lies somewhere between Oskia’s Renaissance Cleansing Gel and REN’s Jelly Cleanser - it’s a soft, light, creamy gel that smells like butterscotch Angel Delight. Melts beautifully onto the skin with a wonderful amount of slip. I confess I don’t really wear makeup at the moment so I can’t comment on its makeup removal qualities. It emulsifies easily into milk which you can either splash off or remove with a cloth. Leaves skin feeling clean, soft and glowy but not tight. Not sure of it’s ‘anti-ageing’ properties but it’s a fab cleanser nonetheless. Highly recommend. For reference I am 31, have normal combo skin and wear a surgical mask for long periods of time (nurse).

Wonderful
5So impressed after only a few days use, sensory experience is divine, highly effective first cleanse, lightly scented, gorgeous texture and gel to oil to milk consistency. Love the side panel where you can see how much is left. Beats the hundreds of cleansers I’ve used over the last 10 years to remove long-wear makeup! It’s a must!

Adore, but...
4This cleanser is great for the first cleanse. It really melts of my make up and smells great. It’s a lovely experience using it and I wouldn’t have another cleanser. The only bit I have is that it isn’t as great on my eyes, no because it doesn’t remove the make up — it does! — it’s isn’t kind to my eyes. Maybe my eyes are more sensitive and so I need a product for that, but I get a bit of irritation when I use it to remove mascara. I wish I had this, but slightly gentler!

Amazing
5The best cleanser I’ve tried - leaves the skin feeling clean, moist and wonderful. Have noticed so much difference in my skin in a month - never going back to anything else.

Absolutely love it
5It leaves my skin soft and clean! I have Rosacea and always look for gentle cleanser. Just keep in mind that it does foam up while using. After using this product, I use the Splash spray from the same line. I totally recommend it.

Nice morning cleanser
4Strong but pleasant smell (for me), rich consistency, feels luxurious. I normally use it in the morning but have on a few occasions also used for removing makeup and it has done an okay job. It does not strip the skin, rather tends to leave a creamy/oily feeling to the skin unless I rinse my face many times. Overall a nice cleanser.

Mediocre at best
3As a gel cleanser, I found this mediocre. There isn’t much ‘melt’ about it and that’s really what I was looking for. However, the consistency is lovely and rich, and it smells pleasant. Whilst I wouldn’t rush to buy it again I haven’t banished it to the back of the bathroom cabinet! I think it is a little pricey for what you get.

Lovely Cleanser
5A fabulous melting cleanser, that truly dissolves stubborn eye makeup without stinging. I love the smell and how clean and soft it leaves my skin. No dryness. Love the Algenist range.
