okay but limited moisturisation
I had high hopes given the premium price and packaging and brand reputation of Votary - the product smells lovely and the applicator is easy to use, but I found the product just sat on my lips and wore off rather than penetrating and moisturising so I would only use during the summer months for a little gloss.

Pleasant, but doesn't heal dry lips
It's in lovely packaging and is a lovely product but it doesn't really help dry lips very much and I loathed to score it a 3 but at that price point I expect something good! £30 for these ingredients is a hefty amount of money to pay, you can buy yourself some Nuxe lip balm for £10 and experience a much better pay off in terms of moisturising results. You can also buy cheaper lip oils if you want that sort of thing. I will use this all up because it is nice, don't get me wrong and if you want a green and luxury product then by all means buy it, just don't buy it if you want something to fix dryness because this doesn't - and like many lip oils you will need to reapply often. I love the glass bottle and enjoy it very much but it will not be a repurchase from me.

Its ok
It comes in a glass flask, which is a nice touch. It smells divine! It's a sort of a jelly lip oil, so it's not sticky but it doesn't last very long... and I haven't noticed any difference in hydration on my lips so it is just... ok.
