I love this mask! It clears my skin and leaves it fresh and energized! I use a little cloth to remove the mask, and it is so much easier than just with hands and water.

This 2 step mask is unlike any I've used. The first step is a blue clay which is applied over cleansed skin. This is cooling and doesn't leave any colour residue. The 2nd is an activating gel which is applied over the clay. Once the 2nd layer is applied, the application process requires the two to be worked together and the mask begins it's foaming step. This mask is amazing. My skin felt refreshed and clean on a deeper level and without any soreness or irritation.The biggest difference was the next morning. I use Skyn Iceland products and after my usual morning routine I noticed my skin was visibly glowing. My oily skin is usually lacklustre but my clients all commented on how lovely my skin looked. Definitely a once a week boost worth buying.

I received this in a hangover kit which I bought to test other skyn products as I love the eye masks. The two step process was really different and the texture of the blue clay was very light, not what I was expecting at all. The second layer a gel was applied on top and then I had a tingling sensation. It wasn't painful or uncomfortable, but initially I did think I was having a reaction to it. The tingling settled after a couple of minutes; when I washed off the mask my skin felt really soft. I'll definitely be buying more of these to use when my skin needs a little TLC.

Though the mask did not warm up upon application of layer 2, my skin felt much softer and cleaner upon removal. My skin also looked much fresher as I was being asked by family and colleagues what I had used on my face as it looked lovely! I would definitely recommend this product as a brightening and detoxifying mask.
