Rahua Shampoo has a luxurious golden royal jelly appearance which instantly feels like its nourishing your hair while washing. Even though this is sulphate-free it lathers gloriously, lifting dirt and grease, while leaving hair shiny, full of health with a lovely, subtle nutty scent. Using chemical-free haircare is great insurance against hair loss, Gwyneth Paltrow is a fan and the brand also supports the native tribes who harvest the rahua nut in the Amazonian rainforest.
The wonder ingredient in this organic shampoo is rahua nut oil, which is harvested by hand by indigenous tribes in the Amazon and is famed for its ability to nourish and strengthen weak, lacklustre locks. The shampoo also smells delicious thanks to palo santo oil, which comes from the aged wood of the palo santo tree. This shampoo doesn't damage strands or irritate the scalp and the lack of chemicals means it promotes growth. Favourite shampoo
This shampoo is really gentle, not drying, and my hair always looks great afterwards. It has a delicate scent and doesn't really linger after rinsing, which I prefer. Leaves my hair feeling clean and voluminous. (I have fine-medium hair that gets oily after 2-3 days so use this a few times a week)

my HG shampoo
In the spring of this year my hair was looking the worst it ever had. Dry, bleach and heat damaged, I was trying to grow out a super short bob that a scissor happy hairdresser had given me six months earlier. So as lockdowns hit, I finally ditched strengtheners and wanted to up my hair care routine. I had been sulphate free for years but then learnt about how drying alcohol can be.. After hours and hours of research I came across Rahua. It was more expensive than any shampoo I had used before but am so happy I took a chance on it!! Yes, I have to wash my hair now twice because the first time it does not lather up. But I also have gone from washing my hair every day to only twice a week max. My hair has never been so soft, is growing well and suddenly I have the most beautiful curls (I love and use the conditioner too). The smell might be personal preference, but if it is an issue, the coloured hair version smells floral and ‘traditionally nice’. Also, extremely happy about being able to buy the refills in biodegradable packaging! Now only if they did it bigger size..

Take my money
Lives up to the hype. Usually, nothing works for my very fine hair. With this, they look cleaner and have somebody, which for me is a revelation. If you have fine hair try it at least once to see if it works for you. Price makes my bank account ache but I will be repurchasing. Very careful when I place the golden goo on my head so I don't literally let my money go down the drain.

My fav!
This is my favourite! Before shampoo, I doan oil massage on my head (30 min. before shampoo is the best), then I use this shampoo. I don't use any conditioner. My scalp is healthy, and my hair is soft and shiny. So GOOD! I like this smell too.

Love it but...
I have almost finished my first bottle, and I have really enjoyed this shampoo! The smell isn't my fav and you do really need a proper work out to get this one to later up...But I guess that's because I am used to drugstore shampoos. Having said that, I do feel that my hair stays 'clean' longer and is visibly healthier!

Quite satisfying
I like this shampoo a lot, the interval between washes became longer.

Meh
It's okay but I hate the smell and it leaves my hair dull and really really dry if used on it's own. The classic conditioner on the other hand is pretty amazing 5/5!

Phenomenal
I cannot praise this shampoo and conditioner enough, two years ago my hair fell out complete due to a hormonal issue and I have ever since been VERY careful and selective about which products I use. I can honestly say that my hair has never been in better condition after using the classic shampoo and conditioner on a regular basis. Not only does it smell so divine people ask what you have on, but it is super concentrated so lasts forever as long as you don’t go mad. If you can afford to buy this treat yourself. If not, buy it and hide it from your husband and kids!!

Pretty good
The cons are that this smells minty and nutty. Do not get terrified by what it smells like form the bottle. It doesn’t smell that intense on your hair. It actually smells like watermelon for my boyfriend. For me it just leaves a minty scent on your hair. Another con is that it’s obviously expensive. Now for the pros. It cleanses your hair pretty good and it’s not stipping. I love the packaging too, and the ingredients are pretty awesome. It is not a miracle worker but it is nice. I don’t know if this justifies the price nut I will definitely use it up and when I’m done I’ll see it I’ll repurchase.
