Gentle in its approach to blemishes, the Calm 1% BHA Sensitive Skin Exfoliant (100ml) works to refine the look of your pores and improve the appearance of skin while keeping signs of redness at bay.
Salicylic acid (a beta hydroxy acid) is the key ingredient in this complexion-enhancing formula. Made to remove dead skin cells on the skin's surface and address brewing breakouts, this exfoliating staple works to minimise blemishes and blackheads. Iconic in more ways than we can count, this powerhouse blend is also enriched with prebiotic sugars and mushroom extract which team together to strengthen your delicate barrier and soothe compromised skin.
Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and toning. Apply a grape-sized amount over the entire face, including the eye area (avoid the lower lash line and eyelids). Do not rinse. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 30 or greater.

Amazing product, I was previously using the 2% version however my skin was getting so sensitive so dialled it back and it works wonders!! Super happy with this product.Â

Works on my sensitive skin
Big fan: started using every other day as suggested, and am up to daily. Feels really nice smoothed over my skin. I'm a couple of weeks into using it and I can see a small reduction in blemishes, I think my nose pores look smaller and are less congested. Hoping for more visible improvements with regular use. The main thing I'm so happy about it that my sensitive skin is tolerating a chemical exfoliant, no reaction at all!

Fantastic
I've used the 2% Liquid Exfoliator from Paula's Choice before, and while I saw some improvements to my skin, it was really irritating and stingy on my skin. So when I saw this version, I jumped to buy it. I've been using it for 4 months now, and it is fantastic. It is a gel formula, which I actually prefer, and it sinks is fast. I've experienced no irritation or stinging, and have seen the same great results, less spots, less redness, and reduced pores. I will continue to repurchase this.

Good
Ok exfoliant, doesn’t cause irritation and keeps my skin break out free. The texture is slightly strange, more like a gel so I do prefer the BHA exfoliant.Â

Good product
Nice exfoliant, helps keep my skin clear without any irrational. I do however prefer the consistency of the normal BHA exfoliant, as this one is more like a gel so doesn’t apply as easy.Â

Perfect for daily use
My sensitive skin loves the 2% BHA exfoliate but still I wouldn't use it every day. So glad Paula's Choice came out this 1% BHA serum - super gentle and with allantoin, which helps with calming skin irritation.
