Does not work
Super pretty, but in my case pretty useless. I would say I have fine hair but quite a lot of it. It slips out of the hair the moment I secure it. Even when I clip all my hair in it, it slides down and falls out. Can definitive not do a "half up, half down" style with it.

Big & Beautiful Barrette
In pics, looks like barrette for decoration only. IRL, barrette is large enough to hold quite a bit of hair (my hair is somewhere between fine and thick.) it is absolutely gorgeous and comes nicely packaged in it's own little cloth bag. Would make a great little gift or stocking stuffer.
