I've just spent over £30 for a very grainy powder foundation that does not buff into the skin. I had to scrub this onto my face with a brush just so it would stay on. Other powder foundations melt into the skin. The website suggests this colour had yellow tones rather than pink tones, but it is VERY pink and dark too... I'm usually a light to medium and this just isn't. I'm very unhappy with the product.

Extremely dry.. does not give a smooth finish... regret this purchase.. the sponge applicator just adds bulk to what would be a sleek package and is utterly useless

I am 45 years old and I was afraid to use a powder foundation (wrinkles, dry skin). I use it daily!!! I recommend a good skin care, a good hydrating cream before and a mist (I use MAC Fix +) after ;-) my skin is light (MAC NW 16) but the colour "Medium" is perfect for me!

One of the best powder foundations on the market. The coverage can be light to full depending on how it's applied. It's got a lovely finish and looks beautiful all day. I've found it looks better an hour or so after applying it and it lasts for hours. I'm no longer a young woman. Powder foundations are typically quicker and easier to apply but it's harder finding a good powder that works for aging skin. I apply with a powder brush, not a cosmetic puff or sponge though those work well. Using a brush gives me lighter coverage. It's safe for sensitive skin. The ingredients are wonderful but exposure to light and air will compromise their effectiveness over time. The foundation itself will continue providing excellent coverage. I'm fair-skinned and chose the lightest shade, FAIR. This shade is a bit too light and I've ordered the LIGHT shade as well. I'm disappointed the shade range isn't more extensive.

I was surprised with this one. I completely underestimated this product. It was a lazy day. I had plans to head out but was so lazy to apply makeup. I was actually breaking out. I still needed to make myself look presentable. This powder started off sheer. But it's very buildable. I didn't even need a concealer. With powder foundations though, you do need to prep your skin properly, making sure you're well moisturized. I'm gona stock up on these for my lazy days. The coverage is really good.

Powder strongly emphasizes all the flaws of problem skin, instead of masking them.
