Huda Beauty - Rose Obsessions Palette

Huda Beauty Rose Obsessions Palette Reviews

    Huda does it again
I was torn between the green, purple or rose palette and a friend of mine got the teal and purple and said it was okay. However, her daughter got the Rose and she said it was lovelier than she expected. So I bought the rose and was very impressed. The yellows and yellow glitter are stunning. The pigment on the yellow shades is really good and the pinks make for good pinky nudes. I thought I would use the yellow as a highlighter but ended up using the yellow as a base and the pinks as highlighters. Which I wasn’t expecting but was pleasantly surprised as it looks beautiful and summery (and even better with a tan).
    Not upto it
This palette let me down really not upto hudas usual standard. Very low payoff and quite flaky. I understand that its pastel but these colours are quite transparent.
Not up to usual Huda standard!
This is the first Huda product that I’m not overly impressed with. The shades look absolutely beautiful however the pastel mattes are very chalky and dusty. The glitters are really pretty, I recommend buying a glitter glue to help with fall out. The unique swirl eyeshadow is nice however I had to really dig my finger into it to get good payoff. In my experience a brush does not work with these glitters, you need to spray a setting spray on your finger & glide it over the lid. I purchased the Matte & Metal in Wednesday/Fro to go with this palette & I think it really helps with pigmentation. Overall, a difficult palette to work with and chalky formula. Expensive for what it is. I wouldn’t repurchase. The pastel mint & lilac palettes are meant to be better quality so I may try those.
    Great product.
I'm not going to lie this product really did deliver. The pigment on these eyeshadow are amazing, and they are incredibly bright which was on the lines of what I was looking for. Albeit full of pretty eye popping shades, the yellow eyeshadow was a little more on the brighter side than expected, but nevertheless still a lovely colour to work with. Can't fault the product in all in all. Top marks for this, had it been a rating out of ten I'd probably give it a strong 8 and a half. Great times for green eyed folks like myself!
    Disappointed
This palette did not impress me at all. The sparkles are very transparent and absolutely not saturated, you need to use a lot of product. The texture is ordinary, I thought it would be a wet texture.
    Poor quality
I really wanted to like it, but this is the worst eye shadow I have ever tried. It is lacking pigment, blends to nothing... I do not recommend it.
    Poor
Good payoff of colour to start with, but it literally lasted 30 mins on my lids. Just pure glitter ended up all over my face.
    Disappointing product
Very bad quality for the price point, very dissatisfied.
    :(
Super chalky and has little to no pigment. the palette's exterior and aesthetic are very adorable but it's so not worth it. Her other palettes are batter :) you can't even make it work if you wanted
    Love!
Super cute colours and looks really good on the eyes. I also have the mint version. I’m obsessed. These are definitely new favorites.
    disappointed
This palette did not impress me at all. Sparkles are very transparent and absolutely not saturated, you need to use a lot of product. The texture is ordinary, I thought it would be more of a creamy texture.
    Absolutely amazing!
Good quality and pigmentation. These are my colours and I really love it. I am even thinking about trying the Lilac palette!
