Our perfume prayers have been answered with this candle incarnation of Annick Goutal's most famous fragrance, Eau d’Hadrien. Think of this sparkling citrus scent as the morning sun reflected on a Tuscan sea – just gorgeous. Its launch in 1981 cemented Annick Goutal’s status as a legendary perfumer and fragrance fans still can’t get enough of it. She created it after reading about the colourful life of the Emperor Hadrian – while also paying tribute to her love of rustic Italy. Every aspect of this candle is made by hand, from the wax itself to the method of pouring it in and the cutting and straightening of the wicks. An exquisite gift or treat-to-self, one sniff will transport you to a villa in Tuscany.
This gorgeous Eau d’Hadrian Candle is the epitome of understated French elegance. It’s a sparkling blend of Sicilian lemons, cypress, grapefruit, bergamot and aldehydes (a special ingredient that gives perfumes that twinkle factor) underscored with the gorgeous white floral, ylang ylang. Perfect to light on a summer evening or to bring back memories of sunny holidays when temperatures plummet. The candle itself comes in hand screen-printed glass, which itself is housed in a beribboned grey hatbox. One of the most stylish gifts you will give this year (although you’ll probably want it all to yourself).
Light the wick of the candle on a flat surface, away from anything flammable.
TOP TIP: The first time you light any candle make sure you allow it to burn uninterrupted for 2 hours, that way the candle will then burn evenly to the base rather than just a small dent through the middle of the wax. And always remember to trim your wick after each use once it has cooled down.

I just can't get enough
The magical yet fresh and feminine scent puts me in a good mood all day long, and also enjoy a sweet evening at home! Even just having it in the room without lightening it, the room still smells like in heaven.
