Psst… The 25th British Hairdressing Awards will be held tonight at London’s Grovesnor House Hotel, but we’ve just had word of the winners. The reigning champion, artistic director for hob salons Akin Konizi, has once again been crowned British Hairdresser of the Year, and judging from the sharp signature collection (featured above) he submitted for the competition, it’s plain to see why Akin remains a cut above.

It’s been a good year for hob salons, who will also scoop gongs for Artistic Team of the Year and London Hairdresser of the Year, the prestigious title awarded to their senior educator Darren Bain.
