In the 14th century, thermal spring water was discovered in the French town of La Roche Posay. According to legend, the nobleman who made the famous discovery was able to cure his horse of severe eczema, just by bathing it in the precious thermal waters. General Napoleon Bonaparte even had a hospital built in the town of La Roche Posay to help heal soldiers suffering from skin diseases – leading to the town to be declared an official thermal spring town, in 1915. Then in 197, La Roche-Posay finally launched, with products powered by the famous thermal spring water. The result? Simple but effective skin care.
