MEET NATURALLY DRENCHED’S FOUNDER

A federal government lawyer who always relaxed her hair, Naturally Drenched founder, Jamila Powell, was always on the hunt to find solutions to her strand stressors. Looking to embrace her curls, she embarked on a learning journey through the various stylists she employed and formulations that they worked with. Jamila noticed how much work went into the pre-treatment of textured hair and how little representation there was for inclusive hair care with the beauty industry. And so, after her own beauty parlour (Maggie Rose) was awarded as one of the USA’s top rated textured salons, Jamila went into product development and created Naturally Drenched.
