The Ordinary has firmly cemented itself as a leader in science-backed skin care. Taking the guesswork out of building a regime, it ditches unnecessary, filler ingredients for familiar, hard-working actives that deliver promising results. And joining the brand's stellar line up is the Retinal 0.2% Emulsion (15ml), a high-strength retinoid that smooths and firms the look of skin.
With a high 0.2% concentration of retinal, the Retinal 0.2% Emulsion (15ml) achieves healthier-looking skin by delivering a more direct delivery of vitamin A than retinol.
Working to improve the appearance of pigmentation and fine lines and wrinkles, this superior emulsion also helps to refine skin texture, leaving it soft and smooth. Gaining its colour from the high concentration of retinal (which is naturally yellow), this must-have offsets the common side effects of retinoids with avenanthramide (a key ingredient found in oats) to reduce the feeling of skin discomfort and dryness. In short? We can't see ourselves without this bathroom-shelf staple...
Apply a pea size amount to a clean, dry face and neck in the evening, avoiding the eye contour. Start using once a week and gradually increase to twice a week, a few days apart. Apply a moisturiser afterwards and do not use with any other retinoids.
Aqua (Water), Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Propanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Hydroxyapatite, Retinal, Cetylhydroxyproline Palmitamide, 4-t-Butylcyclohexanol, Hydroxyphenyl Propamidobenzoic Acid, Ergothioneine, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Bisabolol, Brassica Campestris Sterols, Zingiber Officinale Root Extract, Butylene Glycol, Isohexadecane, Hexyldecanol, Maltodextrin, Caesalpinia Spinosa Gum, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Stearic Acid, Isoceteth-20, Polysorbate 60, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Lactic Acid, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin.

Strong and Affordable
The Ordinary Retinal 0.2% Emulsion delivers impressive results with its potent 0.2% retinal concentration. I've noticed my skin looking noticeably healthier and smoother since incorporating this product into my routine. It's effective and affordable—a great addition to any skincare regimen.

I do the retinal sandwich so put it between two moisturisers so it doesnt purge my skin, only used twice but so far so good. Hasnt irritated me or anything, looking forward to seeing the results

No issues so far
Affordable product. Even though 15ml doesn't seem alot its not too be used daily just 1-2 a week. So I expect it to last. No reactions so far.

Have been waiting for an affordable 2% retinal forever, finally!!
At the moment I am still yet to see results from this but I can genuinely say that I am over the moon with the fact that an affordable retinal of strength 0.22% has been released in stores which is easy to get hold of. The texture is smooth and it hasn't seemed to irritate my skin thus far. I have been using 0.1% retinal for almost 2 years now so I was definitely looking for an upgrade without jumping straight to prescription strength. This looks promising!! Hoping for better results than the 0.1%!!!
