Lovely palette but pricey!
Lovely little palette with great everyday neutral shades. The shadows are a little powdery but the pigmentation is good. Knocking off a star as it is very expensive for such a small palette.

It's a collector's piece
The packaging is stunning. It has a nice weight and the design is just beautiful. The downside for me was first of all the smell. It's not fragranced, but it has a smell, and not a particularly pleasant one. The real issue for me is that there is a shimmer running through all the shades. It's not an overcoat, and definitely translates on the eyes.

Silk palette: underwhelming and disappointing
I adore most items I own from VBB line, with few exceptions, including this eyeshadow palette in Silk. When I saw the palette and looked at the images and videos on the VBB website (the image here on Cult Beauty website should have been a clue), I thought this would be a very nice neutral shimmer palette. But it looks odd on the eye and the colours do not blend well with each other. Pros: The packaging is sleek, heavy, and luxurious as the rest of the line. The palette itself is small (4 x 8 cm) but there is a lot of product in the palette. Cons: The shimmer is hardly detectable on the eye, which might be OK for some people but it looked very different on the videos. The colours don't really go well together. The white shade in the palette turns gold once applied on the skin so you don't get a pop shade. Once the colours are applied, my lid looks wrinkly, dry, and old. I wish I had looked at more reviews on Youtube before I invested in this palette, I could have bought something else that was more to my liking.

Beautiful product!
Stunning from a packaging to its quality. Formula is dry and at first I was not sure if I will like it as it don't swatch particularly well. However, it blends amazingly and performance and longevity is fantastic. After all day at work all my make up worn off a bit but eyes.... Intact! It looked like I've put it on my eyes 5 min earlier. It gives a very smoky kind of grungy vibe which I love. Initially I got signature but just placed another order for tweed too.

Slightly disappointed
I've loved everything I've tried from VB Beauty so far..but this one left me a little disappointed. The packaging is beautiful and feels so sturdy but the actual quality of the eyeshadow was a bit of a letdown. Even though they're really pigmentated and swatched beautifully when it came to applying them on the actual lid I found them really difficult to blend and the darker shades (I have 'Signature' ) ended up looking a bit patchy. However, I'm going to experiment a little bit with a few different primers and brushes as I can see some really good reviews and really want to love this product too!

Very luxurious, the product itself is beautiful, looks great on the skin, wish it would last longer but the first 6-7 hours are magical. Totally worth the splurge.

Too precious to use
I love this for the perfect pick me up eye look, a quick swipe over the eye with some shadow and you're good to go and look so pulled together. The compact is also small enough to carry in your bag so perfect for any top-ups (should you need it) but the cutest, luxe little mirror to pull out whenever you may need it.
