The next generation of sunscreen, Ultra Violette's effective formulas are sensorial to the highest degree; these beautifully silky, lightweight sunscreens embody the brand's concept of SKINSCREEN: comfortable formula packed with skin-loving ingredients (think: Australian antioxidants) that easily slot into your existing skin care and make up routine without pilling or balling. Designed with sensitive, oily and reactive skin in mind, the Lean Screen Mineral Mattifying Fragrance Free Skinscreen SPF50 is a zinc-only mineral formula that doesn't look or feel heavy on your skin!
Crafted in response to a wave of pleas from their community, Ultra Violette's Lean Screen Mineral Mattifying Fragrance Free Skinscreen SPF50 is a mineral-only SPF that will have re-thinking everything you know about mineral SPFs. For starters, it won't feel heavy, you won’t look like a cricketer and sensitive skin won’t throw a tantrum!
Perfect for anyone with oily or reactive skin, or those who just prefer a physical sunscreen, this fragrance-free formula won't feel sticky or heavy; quite the contrary, it's designed to soothe sensitive skin and grant a subtle matte finish. Its protective prowess stems from zinc oxide - nothing more, nothing less - that protects your skin from UVA and UVB rays while working as a soothing anti-inflammatory to reactive, angry skin. Plant-derived pentavin then lends the blend a refreshing hit of hydration that reveals itself as a plump, juicy finish, plus antioxidant-rich kakadu plum guards your skin against free radicals and promotes a simply luminous finish!
Apply every day, even when you’re staying indoors. Apply as the final step in your skincare routine, right after, or instead of your moisturiser and before your make up. We recommend at least five pumps to cover your face and ears.
A pocket of air can be drawn into the pump mechanism during filling, to push this out firmly press your fingers right at the thinner end of the tube and slowly slide up pushing all the product and air against the pump mechanism. Do this until you feel the resistance to the point you can no longer move along the tube, then begin to repeatedly pump, eventually you will hear a small hiss and release of air and the product will begin to pump freely.

Although this SPF is more expensive than others, I really like how it’s a physical suncream so it doesn’t sting my eyes and how it dries down matte unlike a lot of suncreams especially when you’re already oily. It might be too thick for some people but I really like it and I like how it’s natural colour is beige so you get a bit of coverage without wearing makeup :)

Not a shiny spf
It comes out quite thick and the pump isn’t reliable but once you have rubbed it in it has a gorgeous satin, non greasy finish . This brand ‘s spfs are just awesome.

Best 50+ SPF ever
I stock up on these so that I’m never without them. No reactions, no white flashback, no stingy eyes and definitely protects you when it’s sunny. It’s not perfectly matte if you have oilier skin, but think that’s virtually impossible to find with a mineral 50+ that ticks all of the above.

Love!
Great spf, never hurts my mega sensitive skin and feels soothing under makeup. Blurs skin and makes it look even and sits amazingly under makeup Only thing I would say is it is not Matt but dewy and beaut

Great mineral SPF 50
No frills and effective SPF 50 screen. Could do with slightly better spreadability or texture though... Â

Lovely!
Such a nice spf! It's like a mixture between primer and moisturiser, I love it!

Nice sunscreen
I love this, no irritation - yay, glides on smooth and no white cast at all as it’s kind of tan colour out of the tube. The only thing is it is not a Matt sunscreen, it’s dewy and beautiful on the skin. I don’t understand their marketing around this but it is worth trying if you are sensitive and need a high factor sunscreen. I also wouldn’t say it’s hydrating so deffo worth having moisturiser on under and allowing that to fully absorb before applying this, otherwise you can feel a bit greasy.Â

Very good
This is a great spf, it doesn't pill with other products or makeup. It makes the skin look nice, not a dull matte. It is quite thick so I place it on the different parts of my face and neck before smoothing it out. When you first use it you have to pump the bottle for quite a while before it starts coming through.

Funny texture but does the job
It is a bit like putty and takes a bit of working into the skin. BUT… I really like it once it is on- great high spf and a wee bit glowy without being greasy. I will defo finish but not certain I would buy again.

Works well as a base
Because its tinted works well like a bb cream under foundation and somehow helps to colour correct my skin. Can feel a little sticky to start with but sets nicely.
