3I received this in the Cult Beauty Christmas Skin Care Edit 2023. I use it as a first cleanse and found it to be very average as it doesn't take off my mascara. I don't use waterproof mascara. Not something I would repurchase

1So expensive for what it is and it left quite a thick film on my skin unlike other oil-based cleansers. Didn’t deep clean my skin at all. Don’t reccommend.Â

Best cleansing balm
5This cleansing balm smells so divine! It melts all the makeup off with ease and makes your skin feel soft and luxurious! Absolutely love it!

5The best cleansing balm (better than Clinique, Elemis, Augustinus Bader), Liz Earle in my opinion. Takes off makeup and eye-makeup without any stinging, doesn’t cause spots or strip the skin.

5Beautiful scent, make up literally melts off. Can see why this sells out - it’s absolute heaven in a tub! Lasts me a few months even with everyday use.

Nice but not a favourite
3Does a decent job. More comparable to alpha h balm than Emma hardie or Elemis Good product but can’t stand the name and don’t love the packaging but that’s totally personal not to do with product I would choose alpha h or Emma hardie balms over this

Great cleanser
5Smells lovely, really nice texture, cleanses well. I have very dry skin with eczema- this cleanser doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry.

Lovely balm
4I got this as part of a Cult Beauty Box. It's a really nice cleansing balm, it has a pleasant smell and a luxurious texture. A little goes a long way, as it turns into an oil on your skin. It takes off waterproof mascara but you have to work it into the lashes (it doesn't burn my eyes at all). You can rinse it off with water (it turns into a milk) but I prefer to use a cloth to make sure there is no residue. I think overall I still prefer the Farmacy balm because mascara comes off more effortlessly, but this is a close second.
