Trying a retinoid for the 1st time
4Decided to take the plunge using a retinoid. This one is great as it can be added to your daily night moisture and it is easily absorbed and not sticky at all. I've had no side-effects or redness and my skin looks fresher in the morning. It's still early days - hence 4 stars, but so far, so good.

5Gentle and effective. Cheap and a good starting point as I eased off rets over the summer. No irritation with this.

A nice starting place
5This was my second retinol ever, I liked the feeling on my skin, it’s very gentle and a nice place to start of your nervous about using retinol, it didn’t not break me out, or leave any sensitivity. I didn’t see any improvement in the skin, so I moved on to a higher strength.Â

2I was not a fan of this. I didn't feel like it improved my skin and it made my combination oily skin feel oilier. I would not repurchase.

Good retinoid for beginners
4This was the first retinoid I tried at around 30. It was great for entry level, low irritation and I later moved on to the same product at 5%. Can’t beat it for value as a non prescription starter!
