    • Why it's Cult

THE INKEY LIST’s aim is simple: break through beauty jargon to deliver a straightforward take on skin care’s most-wanted ingredients (at astoundingly reasonable, ‘give-it-a-go’ prices). Every skin care buff worth their salt knows that sunscreen is a daily must – and Zinc Oxide Cream Moisturiser provides the perfect answer to this, even for the sun cream-phobic. A combination of mineral and chemical sunscreens (SPF 50) absorbs into the top layer of your skin to deflect harmful, ageing UVA and B rays. Absorbent and lightweight, this formula won’t leave a white residue on skin, block pores or pill prior to make up – it’s a skin care essential if ever we saw one.

THE INKEY LIST - Zinc Oxide Cream Moisturiser

THE INKEY LIST Zinc Oxide Cream Moisturiser Reviews

    Pretty good moisturiser
This is a good texture for oily/combo skin as it’s fairly matte and does work as a moisturiser. It smells very ‘suncreamy’. I’m not convinced it provides much sun protection as I started to go pink in fairly weak UK April sunshine after around 20-30 mins outside, felt like factor 15 to me. The claim of SPF 50 isn’t written anywhere on the actual tube which makes me skeptical. Better sunscreens are available for affordable prices.
    Would buy again!
Definitely one of the better moisturisers I’ve used! Most, even “sensitive”. products make me break out in T-Zone but this is brilliant! Blends nicely. I just feel it could have been a bit bigger for the price but a little does go a long way.
    Best sunscreen ever
This is the best facial sunscreen ever.just love love love this. I suffer from rosacea and my skin is very reactive mostly on the cheeks.. But this cream is lovely. Zero bad reaction no flushing nothing... Just smooth skin. Please don't stop producing this :) I tried nearly all products out there for rosacea and sensitive skin... Inkey list is my favourite :)
    Stone-age chemical sunscreen
Why on earth would you make a formulation, primarily based on zinc oxide - which is a great ingredient - suggesting a clean product with the name, than go on and put ethylhexyl methoxycinnamat aka octinoxat in it? This is a proven endocrine disruptor and a free radical builder in combination with UV-rays! I am by no means a "clean beauty only" person but am also tired of seeing supposedly innovative companies being lazy. There are other chemical UV-filters!
    Would repurchase
Blends in nicely and if it's doing what it's meant to, i.e., giving good protection from the sun, happy to repurchase.
    Not that great.
It's very difficult to blend into the skin. It just ends up pilling no matter what skincare I use under it. Pretty disappointing.
Great formula but too strong smell
The texture is comfortable to use, but the smell is too strong. If you have sensitive eyes like me, you will get irritation and tears.
    Sunscreen
I love this sunscreen. You don't need lots, it sinks in well and does not leave a white cast. With other mineral SPFs, I can often smell the zinc as the sun hits it, but you can't with this one. That worries me a bit as I am unsure now if it has enough mineral content. I will continue using it, as it is a good price and much nicer to use than The ordinary version (which I was using prior to this).
    Disappointed
I was really looking forward to using this, however, I don’t like it at all! It doesn’t spread well and it ends up rolling up under my fingers. I ended up looking like I had dead skin falling off my face! I’ve been looking for a good SPF for a while and this one just doesn’t cut the mustard.
    Fantastic
Light weight, moisturising and doesn’t leave a white cast or causes flash back! Where has this been all my life? I am getting laser treatment on my face so need to wear spf 50 all the time. This works amazing under make up or alone. In fact for me it works like a primer! I can’t recommend this product enough.
    almost perfect!
This is a great moisturiser and sun protection, but I need a good moment until it soaks into my skin so I can apply rest of the make up. Also, I would love a bigger size packaging!
    Eeep, my skin!
My skin does not like this product at all, breaking out in an angry, red, lumpy rash every night after I've used it, and leaving it dry, irritated and sore for days after. A quick google of the ingredients showed some inclusions, especially ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. I'll definitely be avoiding this product and products like it in the future.
    I love it
It is light, not greasy, neutral moisturiser, really protects the skin. You can use any type of powder after but you cant combine it with some other cream (I don't know for BB) Anyway I have been using it for six months and I am happy, because most of the time I forgot to use SPF, now is that problem solved.
    Just Lovely
I tried this along with about 5 other new Inkey List skin care products for the first time. Hands down, this Zinc was my fave! You have to apply it as directed to obtain the best results. It glides on as smoothly as silk and then I found that my foundation went on even better. I'm not big on primers - I've tried too many of them to list from upper end to lower. I save that money and apply it toward quality skin care products. I have returned to repurchase the Inkey List Zinc on many occasions and it has been out of stock since my first purchase. Therefore, I had to remove one star. If you can't locate the product to maintain using it, then how can you endorse it?
    Love it
I really like this product, goes on easily. Blends well with makeup. Would recommend it for anyone.
    Love
    Amazing product for the price
Not great for me, but good, for sure others would love it more
I bought this because I wanted to see if it's similar to my NIOD survival 30 which is my holy grail. It's not similar at all, it's really different - but not in a bad way. So I love Survival 30 because it's not greasy at all and it dries matte, but doesn't dry out the skin at all! It leaves a slight greyish cast, which, to be honest, I completely love, but I know people don't usually like it. I have yellow skin so it's nice to neutralize it a bit. Survival 30 is also like a thick serum, but spreads evenly. The Zinc oxide cream doesn't leave a white cast, spreads easier, but is a bit greasy and I have to wait a bit more so I can apply makeup on top.The only thing I hate is the smell...it isn't that strong, but I hate sunscreen smell, I totally hate it..if I put it next to my mouth somehow it gets in it and after some time and tastes so bitter...but it has spf 50 which is better than survival..it's obviously cheaper and I guess I would re-buy it to use it when I need more hydration(like in winter) and survival more for summer...I know it should be the other way around because of the spf,but the formula doesn't allow it for me. So it's good, not amazing...still Survival is my baby.
    Great one
Start using it this week and I'm so impressed! Not only this one does not leave white marks on my face, but also you need a little of it to go a long way. I replaced my morning moisturiser with this and this is exactly what I was looking for - good moisturiser with high SPF. Well done
    Perfect budget sunscreen
I rarely leave comments, but this new product is worth me recommending. I'm always looking for a daytime moisturiser with enough hydration and spf protection. This product exactly does the job and performs well under makeup. Compared with The Ordinary sunscreen, it leaves no white cast, blends easily, and provides SPF 50 equally. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed :)
