Gives a great glow and perfect amount of colour. Scent isn't too strong and easy to put on without getting streaky. Not a huge fan of the glitter so will probably try the lotion next time.

Brilliant product
I have been using this self tanning butter for a while and have had near perfect results, applies with ease (no messiness  I use a tanning mitt) builds up gradually overtime and leaves my skin very soft and smooth with a lovely glow, has no lasting off putting odour and lasts for a long time which is a bonus. Will definitely carry on using.

Goes on smoothly and develops into a natural looking tan. No streaks, no fake tan smell and has a slight shimmer so looks radiant on skin.

I have really fair skin and the Tan-Luxe range is the only tan I’ve ever used that makes my skin glow and the colour pay off is even and natural looking. Smells lovely which is also a bonus.Â

Nice results but SO sparkly
I was excited to try this but when it arrived I noticed it was very shimmery, bordering on sparkly. There was no mention of this anywhere on the product page, aside from the world Illuminating, which I feel is a bit misleading as it is shimmery, rather than glowy. Shimmer aside, it is a pretty nice tanning product. The texture is thick and buttery, which makes the application process feel quite luxurious. It takes a while to sink in, but the smell is pleasant and application is fairly easy. That being said, once it sinks in, the skin feels quite dry and tight – I had to use an intensive body balm the following night. I went to bed with it on and woke up significantly darker – just a warning that this is definitely not a gradual tan, particularly not if you have pale skin. Also, be sure to wash your hands very thoroughly – I washed them as I would with a gradual tanner and they were still very stained. The colour is quite dark and olive-toned but it does look a little orange on me, sadly. Would I buy it again? Probably not due to the shimmer, but I will definitely use the rest of this one.
