I treated myself to this for my birthday, and told my partner to pretend I was Elizabeth Taylor - because let's face it, not everyone suits turbans.
More importantly, though - yes, it works. My hair is chemically straightened, dyed, and regularly thrashed with heated appliances. My hair suffers. Putting this on every night means I no longer wake up looking like Medusa. On the contrary, my hair is sleek, tidy and knot-free. My hair is in better condition now, after using the Silke wrap nightly for a month, than it has been in years. I'm also finding I don't need to wash my hair quite so frequently either, which is no bad thing. (I can wash on the 3rd, or even the 4th, day, rather than the 2nd, as I used to.)
There are three things I'd say: Firstly, because you have to tuck your hair into the wrap, it won't be straight in the morning, which is fine if you like wavy hair, but if, like me, you prefer a sleeker look, you'll still need to style a bit before you go out. Secondly, if you don't have loads of hair to fill the wrap, it'll slide down over your forehead and almost over your eyes as you sleep. Thirdly, because it's dry-clean only, you might need two. (Unless you've got a same-day dry cleaner in your 'hood.)
These are minor points, though, for the benefit this product brings to your hair. I've only had it a month, and I can't imagine living without it.
