After realising that there was a gap in the skin care market for effective, results-driven essentials, that were also gentle and non-irritating, Shani Darden decided to create her own beauty line. Looking to bring to life products that would enable customers to achieve healthy, glowy skin — without the need to resort to harsh chemicals and invasive treatments — Shani Darden Skin Care was born. Its first release was the Retinol Reform serum which became an instant success with clients and customers. Infused with encapsulated retinol, it’s slow releasing, making it more gentle than others on the market.

MEET SHANI DARDEN

Starting her career in LA, as a backing dancer for Destiny’s Child and LL Cool J, Shani Darden realised that she cared more about what the make up artists were doing to her face backstage, then learning the new choreography for her dances. With that in mind, she decided to retrain as a facial aesthetician and began working with a leading dermatologist before opening her own clinic in 2019, in Beverly Hills. Here she gained an A-List clientele, who loved the high-performing blends she developed and sent them home with. In 2020, she decided to release these formulas worldwide and thus Shani Darden Skin Care was born.
