    • Description

A fresh way to glow, Saie’s Dew Balm is bursting with skin-friendly extracts to counteract dullness and quench your cells’ thirst as it grants an unparalleled ‘glass skin’ effect.

Starring marshmallow root and line-lessening hyaluronic acid to plump, smooth and hydrate your skin, this phenomenal dew leaves your face looking fresh as a daisy at dawn – cushiony soft with a beautiful bounce and the glossiest (not-at-all-glittery) sheen. With three shades to choose from – ‘Saie Lilac’, ‘Bronze Nectar’ and soft ‘Rosy Gold’ – how you use it is at your discretion; just warm with the heat of your fingers and dab anywhere that deserves to be gazed at (it’s perfect for lending your lids editorial edge).

    • How to use

Start with a little dab of Dew Balm and warm between your fingertips or on the back of your hand. Then just tap into skin. Cheekbones are the sweet spot here, as well as your Cupid’s bow, brow bone and lids. Works great on bare skin or over dewy- or natural-finish foundation (but we suggest you steer clear of matte-finish versions).

This formula is buildable, meaning you can apply as little or as much as you'd like until you're happy. Our recommendation is: one thin coat for more subtle daytime dew and to dial up the glow, keep dabbing until you get the level of luminosity you're going for.

    Saie - Dew Balm

    Saie Dew Balm Reviews

    Dewy balm heaven
So you need to be comfortable with a balm like texture. I like to warm a little between my fingers or on the back of my hand and then dab away on the high points. The Saie Lilac is a beautiful pale purple with a pearlescent glow. I find the texture really workable and tend to gravitate towards a liquid/cream highlighter. My only issue is the product leaks out every so slightly at the beginning but all good once you start working through it.
    Over priced bad product!
Costing £16 for 10ml you have expectations of a much better quality product. It is so difficult to get any product out of the tube which is frustrating as well as the amount of wastage in this tiny tube. Secondly when I applied it to my face I didn't notice anything - this literally did nothing. It is a lot of money for a very hyped up product with no substance.
    Very disappointing!
Wow, this was the most disappointing product I've bought in 2020. First of all, the colour on screen (both packaging and formula) is not the same as in real life. SAIE claims to be a natural eco-friendly brand but the tube is either plastic with alu finish or plastic tube, both NOT eco friendly at all. Next to that, the box is way too big for the tube meaning they use really too much packaging material. The formula is way more greyish. It is really hard to get the formula out of the tube, the texture is not dewy but more clayish/powdery. You really have to rub quite hard to apply the formula to your face, a NO GO if you have applied foundation or other complexion products. After a few minutes, the formula is completely gone. And this all for 16 pounds? Not worth it!
    All in the hype
The texture is quite nice but it feels like a heavy lip balm and stays sticky. I find my hair likes to stick to it. Unless you are wearing this on bare skin, be prepared for it to lift up or shift whatever is underneath. The shine or "glitter" is subtle and I do like that, which I think is due to the texture and emollient nature of the product rather than added colour. I wouldn't buy this again or recommend it (as someone with oily skin over 30) but maybe if you have dry, model clear skin you will enjoy this much more.
    Just horrible...
This feels literally like vaseline with cheap shiny particles. It never dries leaving your skin disgustingly greasy, has no color payoff, plus if you have any sort of lines in your face (even the smallest line) will be full of this stuff - like honestly, I don't understand the positive reviews... I love cream highlighters and cream products it's what I use every day, but this is a waste of money.
    Simply Beautiful
This is a really unique product. I love cream highlighters in general, but I always find that they have too much glitter in them. This has very minimal glitter and it gives you a natural radiance. It’s perfect for those no-makeup makeup days. I knew I was going to love this product so I ended up buying the Lilac and the Bronze Nectar. (I don’t particularly like pinks) Safe to say I made a very good choice. It might seem a little weird, but I found it looks best when you mix the two colours together. I have olive skin, so naturally the bronze looks good on me. I was sceptical about the lilac, but that also looks amazing (if not better) on my skin tone. The lilac is probably marketed at fair/light skin tones, but honestly don’t let that put you off if you have darker skin tone. It looks like a very soft iridescent glow. Absolutely stunning! They are super easy to apply and blend out. The texture is like a whipped cream. I’d highly recommend them if you’re looking for super natural, almost undetectable, highlighter.
    Subtle Glow
My skin is naturally glowy enough, so I don't always wear highlighter but I do like to emphasise during winter time. If you're more into intense highlights, then this may not be the product for you. It actually reminds me a lot of the Milk Holographic Stick, however, the Milk one breaks me out from time to time and the Dew Balm hasn't thus far! I have also tried the Glossier Haloscope which I didn't love - I prefer this (or the Milk Holographic Stick on days my skin is doing good so I know it won't break me out).
    Save your money
It’s a thick paste that barely comes out of the tube (which leaks btw, I had some oil come out of it). When you warm it up, it becomes a thick grey paste that smeared on the skin looks like dusty Vaseline with some glitter. Instantly melts everything you have underneath (foundation or concealer) and feels so heavy, like it’s going to break you out. I was looking for the natural dewy look and was so disappointed, especially for the price.
    Useless?
I'm so confused by this. I bought the shade lilac after reading reviews here. It feels like a balm (actually hard to squeeze out!) and has a pretty lilac shift, but doesn't do anything. I put it on and it disappears. Doesn't matter what I use underneath- I actually tried it on top of my Rituel de Fille cream highlight, and it really dimmed the glowing effect. The lavender effect doesn't show up either after you apply it. Not sure what to do with this. It's a pity because I have 3 other Saie products and love them all. This one is completely useless.
    Do the Dew
Really excited Saie finally landed in the UK! This is great for a quick and subtle touch of gentle shimmer - perfect for a casual, not overdone look.
    Perfect Glow
So nice and dewy but not too shiny. Leaves a perfect natural glow to the skin!
