    Pixi - Rose Flash Balm

    Pixi Rose Flash Balm Reviews

    Pixi Rose Flash Balm bobbly
At first, I loved this balm for the under makeup glow and thought it was as good as Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. But now, it goes into bobbles on my skin. I checked but there don't seem to be silicones in so I don't know why.
    Immediately fell in love
I used it as mask once and then as primer. I must say that it worked wonderfully as primer. I didn't even need to use BB cream as this primer already made my skin look smooth and glow. My skin felt hydrated the whole day. I'm purchasing it again.
    Good under makeup
I love using this under my makeup. I got it as a gift but I wouldn't really purchase it again as it doesn't do much. It's sticky, so works well for keeping the makeup but I wouldn't use this as a moisturizer.
    Rose Flash Balm
This is a wonderful product, I recommend it to anyone who will listen! The cream has an unusual texture in that it is slightly grainy looking but once on the skin blends in well and leaves the skin feeling silky and the perfume is a pick up in itself!
    Not an essential
I have oily/blemish-prone skin so this is not a natural fit for me. I love Pixi product so i gave it a go. Is like most flash balms but with a rose-scent. May be good if you have dry/sensitive/rosacia skin but I would not repurchase this product.
    WOW
I bought this after seeing Caroline Hirons review it. It's unreal, my skin feels and looks the best it has in ages. I don't use it as it says, I use it before moisturiser and just rub it in as normal. So nice to use and the scent is not too much. Will definitely repurchase when needed.
    Skin saviour
I used it when I was travelling, right after landing from a long hour flight. It really does freshen the skin when used as a mask! I did not like using it as a primer though because paired with my bb cream it solidifies and I have bits of makeup solids rolling off as I put on products. I used it as a moisturizer on its own when I had a nasty chemical burn from trying an acid based toner which at the time my skin will sting when in contact with any product that has alcohol in it (basically almost all face creams!) except this balm. This balm was the only soothing cream I could use. Definitely a great buy!
    A perfect pick-me-up
I went to a trip with a friend early morning, operating on 1.5 hours of sleep. All I had on my face was this and the 24K Eye Elixir to decrease puffiness. The friend kept asking me whether or not I slept, since my skin looked so fresh and glowy. I also used it every day of the trip as a primer, and it brought a nice glow from within. 10/10 would buy again. Still, don't use it to substitute sleep.
    You appreciate its effects later
I was applying this after exfoliation with the Pixi Peel & Polish. Initially I felt like it didn't do anything special compared to other moisturisers, although my skin was nice and soft after leaving it overnight. I tried substituting this with another mask, which made my skin burn like crazy and left it red and blotchy. I realized that "not feeling like anything is happening to your skin" is what makes this Rose Balm so soothing. After comparing to other products I will repurchase.
Amazing product for all skin types
The texture is in between a gel and a cream that sinks into the skin and provides great hydration without being sticky or thick. Great smell and makes your skin feel and look great. My favourite way to apply is at night so that it acts like a treatment and I wake up with great feeling skin. I have sensitive and combination skin and it works great. Have repurchased.
    The best moisturiser
I have been using this for almost 2 years. Really helps my dry skin. I also use it as makeup primer. My recommendation is try to use it with face oil eg: rose oil/ farsali oil if your skin if super dry like mine.
    Not good for dry skin
Sadly very disappointed in this product. Tried to use it both as an overnight balm and primer and just made my skin feel very dry and tight. When used as a primer it made my makeup patchy and uneven and made powders cling to dry spots. You have to be VERY careful not to rub this product into the skin harshly or the product rubs off. Very odd texture overall. But may work for oily skin types.
Am I crazy or does this remind you of the Sisley black rose mask
I bought this on a whim, thinking that it wouldn't be a terrible financial loss when I realize how terrible this is. But, I was wrong, this is actually really nice, it's so nice I am writing what I think is my first review ever here! I use it both as a mask and as a primer, when I use it as a mask I put it overnight! When used as a mask, my face has this immaculate radiance to it, feels very supple and moisturized, but certainly not greasy! Now my skin is very normal, it can be a bit dull, but this is a great pick up in times of need. Now as a primer this does not really extend the wear of my foundation, but it provides a subtle glow from within and keeps my face hydrated, so it helps my base not crease around my expression lines around my mouth, and my face looks healthy after I take off the makeup. It does remind me of the Sisley black rose mask both in terms of scent, initial colour, and the overall effect. It is less oily than the Sisley one actually, but they're both beautiful products that give you this "oh she's pretty" feeling the day after you use them.
Give it a week or three...
I loved this product I really did. I used it religiously. As a primer, as a pick-me-up when I haven't slept well, as a mask, everything. It boosted my radiance and was like a cup of coffee for the skin. Paired with the peptide eye serum, my friends had trouble believing I did not get my eight hours of sleep. Unfortunately... my breakouts became worse. At first, I thought my skin was purging, and just continued. No dice. I did, however, notice that my skin looked better when I wore no makeup, which also meant wearing no primer. I switched primers and my face went back to normal...so sad that this holy grail product broke me out. If you have sensitive skin, beware of this, as it is heavier than you would think.
    Finally found 'the one'.....
I couldn't be happier with this product. I have purchased so many products over the years to combat my oily blemished skin but I don't like a matte finish. I like my skin to have a bit of energy and glow about it. This has well and truly become my favourite skincare product ever. It is OIL FREE, non greasy, smells amazing and gives me a wonderful healthy glow and radiance (without any shimmer etc). I'm in love. And it works so well under makeup and as a mask. It is a wow product.
