An absolute worth of your investment

I have attempted to switch to other brands with various price points in the hope that I might find some cheap substitutes. But no, this is the only shampoo that gives immediate relief without compromising any long-lasting effects. It is like no other when it comes to itchy scalp and dandruff.

Hair saviour

Hands down THE BEST shampoo for problem scalps, I always come back to this botanical beauty - gentle on hair leaving it soft yet packs a punch and clears up dandruff and itchy scalp in days, love the smell, lasts ages - this is a winner.

Disappointing

After reading the amazing reviews on this shampoo I thought I’d give it a try. I Don’t usually spend a lot of money on shampoos however I was hopeful it would clear up my scalp issues so thought I would treat myself. I’ve now been using the shampoo for a few weeks and still have half a bottle left. However, I have just gone to Tesco and bought a £2 bottle as I cannot use it any longer. The shampoo absolutely STINKS of paint striper. When first applying it I was actually expecting to look in the mirror and have no hair left as the smell was so strong and it was burning my scalp. I then washed it off and my face stung for an hour or so after. I thought I’d give it a chance and continue using it and thought it might settle and start working but my scalp and face continued to sting when using it. My scalp issues also did not worsen or improve. Waste of money.

Keratin & colour friendly...and ACTUALLY WORKS

Okay, so this stuff is AMAZING! I suffer from scalp psoriasis which has become much worse over the last 12 months. Over the years I have tried a million different products and brands and nothing has managed to tick all the boxes...until now! Not only is my colour and keratin treatment totally safe, I could feel and see the difference after the very first wash. And to top it off, my hair is the softest I think it's ever been. The shampoo does have a slight medicated smell but I can totally forgive that when it works so well, plus it doesn't linger after using conditioner. Pleasantly surprised at how little I have to use each wash - and I have a lot of hair - so even although it is a small bottle I expect it to last for about a month. Yes, it's a little pricey but 100% worth it in my eyes and I don't plan on switching any time soon. Thanks, CB for a fab find.

Actually works!!

I have been using this for almost 2 years now. It is absolutely fantastic. I used to have an itchy scalp - with really painful scalp pimples and hair loss. It was embarrassing and I would feel disgusting. I had tried pretty much everything in desperation - shampoos, scalp exfoliators, toners etc. I would have some relief before they stopped working or I would have a bad flare up and just have to get through it. This shampoo is a bloody miracle as far as I am concerned. My scalp is clean, I can wash my hair every 2-3 days with no issues and my hair is actually in much better condition - decreased hair loss, soft to touch, shiny and bouncy. For the first time this year I actually coloured my hair as I'm no longer afraid of any potentially irritating chemicals coming near my scalp. So many products have extraordinary claims. This one actually delivers. Cult Beauty, I beg you please keep stocking this product forevermore.

Amazing

I have curly fine hair, and I was sick of using medicated shampoo that would dry my hair out, so I bought this to try. It's really incredible. I can wear black and I have no shedding. Also, while it has a clay-like texture, it doesn't make my hair feel dry or frizzy, and my scalp feels clean and flake free. The only reason I'm giving this 4/5 is because I run through this too quickly. I wish it came in a value size!

So far... holy grail status

I am a beauty product junkie and that includes hair care products, however, my scalp has never approved of my obsession and always reacted terribly badly to anything not Head & Shoulders, which isn't good at all for my hair because it makes it dry and opaque.... But this shampoo, OMG, this is the best thing I have tried in years!!!! The flakiness I had (which was really bad) was gone the second time I used it. I can now go without washing my hair up to 3-4 days, something that I was never ever able to do before. Yes, it is expensive but sooo worth it! One bottle can last me between 6-8 weeks (the amount needed for every wash is way less that what you would usually need from other brands). The scent is a bit herbal I really like it, it feels like I am pampering myself with something natural and good, but the best part is that my hair is the shiniest it's been in years!

Colour friendly psoriasis relief

I never write reviews but this stuff is amazing. I suffer from flare ups of scalp psoriasis every now and then. My options were coal tar shampoo or steroid lotion. The coal tar route meant I smelled like I'd been creosoting my head, an idea reinforced by the orangey brown stains left everywhere in the bathroom and the fact that it left my hair with the texture of a fence. Not something that is going near my coloured hair. The steroid route loses effectiveness after a while. So I shelled out for this and it is absolutely fantastic and - it works. It has a mildly medicated smell (it has some coal tar in it which is probably why it works on psoriasis, but it doesn't stain and it is colour safe). Yes, it is pricey but you don't have to use it daily for ever. A concentrated period of use, followed by twice weekly use (and then even more sporadic use) means you aren't committed to an indefinite period of hair washing using a £30+ shampoo.
