With purifying Irish moor mud to draw out embedded impurities, alongside black hijiki seaweed and volcanic ash to hydrate and detoxify, this gel-textured cleanser is ideal for congested, lacklustre complexions – clarifying and re-balancing to banish blemishes, prevent blackheads and swiftly restore radiance.
Ideal for pimple-prone, oily and combination skin types, Peter Thomas Roth’s Irish Moor Mud Purifying Cleansing Gel is packed with fortifying nutrients, essential minerals and free radical-fighting antioxidants to neutralise the damaging effects of everyday exposure to environmental stress, while attracting impurities to prevent clogged pores and breakouts. Non-stripping, this dissolves dirt and make up while a cocktail of lactic and salicylic acids, alongside willow bark and tea tree extracts works to refine skin’s texture by ‘melting’ the glue that binds dead cells to the surface, to leave your face smooth, supple and more light-reflective. Replenishing, revitalising and re-balancing, this is the perfect first-step solution for those whose complexion is problematic.
Apply small amount onto damp skin.
Work into a lather and massage gently onto face and neck.
Rinse thoroughly with water.

Almost too clean
It's a great cleanser that helps fight breakouts and acne well. My oily skin does feel a little dry and tight after using it, but after applying a good moisturizing serum and cream, it's all good!

Good cleanser
The first PTR product I have used and I like it a lot. I am not a big fan of foaming cleansers but this one is cleansing yet not stripping the skin. It also has a nice set of acne-fighting ingredients including tea tree oil, salicylic acid and willow bark extract plus it is alcohol free. Definitely, recommend.

Works for me
This face wash helps to clear my congested skin. At first it dried out my skin but after my skin got used to it I could see it was reducing blackheads and pimple. Not a cure but certainly does help me.

Amazing
My skin has never looked or felt better. This product does exactly what it says on the bottle. I had a very congested, oily, acne prone skin and this has cleared it right up. I would definitely recommend it and will be repurchasing it.

I've been using this for around 3 weeks now, roughly 4-5 times a week. I am very prone to breakouts and small pimples on my face, and my skin is the clearest it has been in a long time since using this. After using, my face is not left dry unlike so many cleansing products - which is a bonus because my skin is fairly dry!

Melts blackheads, exfoliates like a dream
I'm 40, with combo/oily skin (which means no wrinkles, but some congestion). This cleanser really surprised me - it cleared my pores to an extent that I really wasn't expecting, and does a wonderful job of exfoliating any rough of flaky bits, all without drying. I'm on my second bottle now (and it's very unusual for me to buy a cleansing product more than once).
