    • Why it's Cult

When Pai Skincare founder Sarah Brown’s skin became irritated, hyper-sensitive and acne-prone out of the blue, she set about creating a skin care line that would let her take back control. The result: Pai Skincare, a pure, potent line brimming with organic ingredients that will soothe even the most distressed complexions. Using an advanced CO2 extraction method, Pai derives a more effective, fresh and long-lasting rosehip oil than cold-pressed versions, preserving the potent nutrients and incredible skin benefits. This ultra-gentle – yet incredibly efficient – oil cleanser removes the day’s dirt and make up while simultaneously nourishing the skin for a radiant, healthy glow – and all without a whisper of irritation.

Pai Skincare Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil Reviews

    My new favourite 1st cleanse!
I have had my own HG balm cleanser for my first cleanse at night for years now and nothing has made me stray from it, until now! Even though this is an oil rather than my usual balm, it works so well and removes every scrap of makeup. I'm a contact lens wearer and I get really irritated eyes from the smallest thing and this cleanser doesn't irritate or affect my eyes at all. I work it and really massage it into my skin dry at first, the more you do this the better before emulsifying, the oils start to break up and you really feel it dissolving makeup from your skin. Then you add water and it becomes a very light milk and I use a flannel/muslin if wearing makeup to remove, or it does rinse off perfectly with just water alone. My skin feels super soft, hydrated, and calm after using this and it is now in my top 2 cleansers...that's saying something! I love Pai as a brand and this has fast become my new favourite product.
    Okay oil cleanser
I’m finding the oil is quite “sticky” and doesn’t glide as nicely on the skin as others I have tried previously. I also need to use a lot of the oil - about 3-4 pumps. Other than that, I am finding the product reacting quite well with my sensitive, acne-prone skin so far. But still not sure I will go back to buy the full sized product.
    Good cleanser but not great
I had a bad reaction to this one, got itchy skin and dry patches. It has many citrus based oils and essential oils which I did not notice before buying. Even if there is no artificial fragrance in this it should be noted that essential oils are a fragrance and can be irritating to some people, so just keep that in mind. I have stopped using this product and my skin is back to normal.
Does not emulsify nor lather well.
I may be spoiled by the texture of Asian cleansing oils, but this from PAI is just not up to par. It's thick and hard to spread around on the face, and it doesn't emulsify when I add water. My face feels greasy after rinsing. I love PAI's rosehip cream cleanser but this is the worst cleansing oil I've tried.
Как будто растительное масло из магазина… ***Like a vegetable oil from the store...
Очень тяжело смыть с лица. И в целом процесс снятия макияжа с этим маслом не самый приятный… ***It is very difficult to wash off the face. And in general, the process of removing makeup with this oil is not the most pleasant...
    It’s fantastic!
I bought this after trying a sample of the Shu Uemura oil cleanser which I loved but couldn’t afford, and this has absolutely hit expectations and keeps my oily, sensitive, acne prone skin very happy! It’s so quick and easy to use, to either remove makeup or as a morning/night face cleanse (I use it for all of the above!) - I will definitely re-buy when it runs out.
    Lovely cleanser.
This cleanser is lovely - it smells good and a little does go a long way. I have oily skin, so I have given the product 4 stars just because I prefer other cleansers that sink into the skin in a more balmy way.
    Best cleanser ever
This cleanser is lovely. It's so gentle on my sensitive skin, but so good at removing all my eye makeup with barely any effort from me! It gets everything off straight away, and leaves my skin smooth and hydrated. I like that it comes in a glass bottle too, from an environmental view.
    Used On Combination Skin
PROS: Love the scent, perfect thickness, really helps to melt my make-up, does not break me out, and easy to wash off leaving no greasy residue. A little goes a long way and by skin doesn’t feel tight or dry after. CONS: DO NOT use it for eye make up/mascara, it stings and gives blurry eyes. WOULD I BUY IT AGAIN? Yes I will continue to purchase this until something else amazes me x
    Really love this
I was looking for an oil cleanser and had tried a sample before. This is great - it feels super nourishing (I have sensitive, rosacea prone skin) and what I most love about it is how easily it washes off. I often will use it as a first step in a double cleanse, but just as often will use it on its own and i find that it washes off really nicely. Especially if i'm using a warm washcloth.
    Brilliant
I love this product. One thing to say though (and this is a criticism to the system and not to the product) is that this product doesn't come up when you filter no artificial fragrance which is wrong as this product doesn't contain it.
    Not as expected but AMAZING
When I used this product for the first time I was quite confused because the texture is very different to other cleansing oils/balms I've used before. It's not slippery and oily and doesn't leave an oily residue feeling on your skin. It smells amazing and natural and gets rid of EVERYTHING really well and with not a lot of product needed. My sensitive skin loves it.
    Hate it
I hate it and don't know why everyone else seems to love it... Basically when I try to cleanse my face with it, it absorbs right away so I can't even finish the process... I've tried lots of cleansing oils and balms since I double cleanse every day and this one is the worst. Basically, now I just use it after washing my hands to hydrate because I don't want to throw 36 pounds in the trash.
    Very nice cleanser
I love this cleanser. It has a very pleasant scent, gently cleans the skin and doesn’t dry it. Love its natural ingredients.
