Massage on dry skin in circular movements. On contact with water, the texture transforms into a milky emulsion, easily rinsable with water. Massage again for perfect make up removal. Rinse thoroughly with water. Finish using washable, reusable cotton pads (we'd recommend our own...).

Awful product
Yes, the packaging looks nice but this oil really will not emulsify with water. I hate having to scrub it off with a cloth since my skin doesn't like mechanical exfoliation at all. The product description says you can rinse it with water but you really cannot. It turns into white gunk that will not budge, no matter how long you rinse your skin. Also not that good at removing make-up.

I wish this were better!
I have normal skin and don't wear a lot of makeup (generally concealer, blush and mascara). I was looking for a cleansing oil to replace the Oat Cleansing Balm from Inkey List I've been using for a few months. I really love the ethics and story of this company, and the bottle is beautiful. The oil itself is a nice consistency, not too runny and a subtle floral smell really helps unwind for the day. However, time and again I have found this oil very hard to budge. It sticks to the skin and adding water turns the oil pale but doesn't really dissolve it. I have reusable cotton pads I use around the eye area to remove all traces of mascara, so it wasn't a huge imposition, but the extra effort is a bit annoying. For someone with dry or potentially even sensitive skin, it might be a better fit if really concerned with losing sebum - this could act as a protective layer - but not for me.
