Allow us to set the scene: you’re going about your day when — ouch! — you realise you have some under-the-skin spots brewing. You know the kind — the ones that are infinitely painful and a pain to get rid of. But worry not! The Buffering Lotion is formulated with those exact blighters in mind.
Targeting large spots that linger under the surface of your skin, the Buffering Lotion encourages a clearer complexion via antiseptic zinc oxide with soothing allantoin and niacinamide to help build healthy cells, improve skin texture and protect against the elements. Lightweight and quick-absorbing, it treats troubled skin overnight to reduce the appearance of existing bumps, re-balance and encourage calm — all in a night’s work!
SHAKE WELL before applying directly onto affected areas with clean fingertips. Use every evening. Do not apply anything over the Buffering Lotion (such as moisturiser or night cream). Do not use this as a preventative product; it should only be used when necessary on active blemishes. Do not apply to eye area. If product gets into eyes, rinse well with water. Not recommended for use with topical prescriptions or sensitive skin. Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with water. If skin irritation develops and persists, discontinue use.
Top tip: apply a few drops of Buffering Lotion to affected areas under a thin layer of Mario Badescu’s Drying Mask. After 15 minutes, rinse off, tone, and follow with another application of the Buffering Lotion.

Helped but didn’t irradiate
The buffering lotion definitely helped my skin calm down and reduced the size of large pimples, however small under the skin pimples remainedÂ

Holy Grail
works much better than the drying lotion and can use to spot treat on no makeup days - calms redness - only use on needed area or will dry out skin
