Designed to respect every skin type, MALIN + GOETZ range of simple (but serious) skin care solutions are worshipped by cool beauty-thusiasts. Gender neutral and stylishly housed, it’s time you made space for a new beauty hero (and bought a big bolt to protect your essentials from borrowers).
Caring for your hair from its source, this Detox Scalp Mask from MALIN + GOETZ is a quick (it only takes five minutes!), clarifying treatment; it helps to shift dulling product build-up and dead skin cells as well as excess oil. The results? Hair that appears fuller and healthier!
The once-weekly, foaming mask is powered by a handful of gentle, exfoliating acids and fatty acid-rich oils to purify and condition your scalp. Here's the low-down on the skin-forward ingredients: an encapsulated oxygen complex is behind the non-stripping, foaming action; encapsulated salicylic acid helps to exfoliate dead skin cells; glycolic and lactic acid clarify and balance; safflower, coconut and olive oils lend their hydrating heroics, while peppermint and spearmint leaf oils provide a soothing effect. Suitable for all hair types and textures, including sensitive skin and colour-treated hair, this vegan mask leaves your scalp feeling refreshed and reset.
Start with a dry scalp/hair. Apply 2-3 pumps to your fingertips. Massage onto front of scalp in circular motions. Repeat with another 2-3 pumps onto back of scalp. Mask will start to foam. Leave on for five minutes. Rinse with water. Use 1-2 times a week.

Not bad
Bought as part of an attempt to deal with some scalp issues. It's a bit tricky to spread enough throughout roots. Nice lightly herbal mint smell. Certainly doesn't make things any worse and, as a relatively gentle product, it's a nice break from drying medicated shampoos when dealing with a problem scalp.

Very good
Leaves scalp feeling cleansed and refreshed. As you massage it in it gives a ‘minty’ type feeling to the scalp when leaving a little before washing out, but nice to actually feel it working. Have found some I like a little bit more at a lower price point though. Would still repurchase.Â

Scalp detox
This is a great product. I've had recurring scalp psoriasis for as long as I can remember. I've hated having to use foul smelling medicated shampoos to soothe my scalp. This does the job, soothes the irritation, gets rid of the flakes and makes my hair look lovely. It doesn't take it away for ever but nothing I've tried does. The only reason I've given four stars instead of five is that I have to use more pumps than the suggested six meaning the product is likely to not last as long as I'd hoped.
