Frizz-smoothing is a notoriously tricky business – most anti-frizz products rely on silicones to lubricate the hair’s surface and weigh strands down, which helps to minimise friction but ceases to be as effective when things get hot and humid. Frizz is the product of these two factors; when hair is exposed to humidity or dampness, the moisture is absorbed into the hair fibre, causing the cuticle to flare out – as the strands rub against one another, the increase in friction results in frizz, so a true solution must successfully tackle both of these issues. Living Proof took it upon themselves to devise the biggest and most innovative anti-frizz breakthrough; OFPMA – the proprietary technology in Living Proof’s No Frizz products – which coats each strand more evenly than silicones, so moisture is unable to penetrate the hair shaft. It also helps to smooth each strand’s texture, so friction is minimised and frizz is conquered. Also in the Instant De-Frizzer is a clever blend of oils which replicate the functions of those found naturally in the hair, plus conditioning agents to soften and seal the cuticle. The result? Sleek, smooth and frizz-free locks.
For medium to thick hair, hold canister 6-10" away and spray on dry hair in a sweeping motion. Smooth hair with hands or comb. For fine hair, focus on applying from mid-lengths to ends. To spot treat, spray in hand and apply to specific sections.

I love dry shampoo from them, unfortunately with this product I did not see much of a difference with the hair. Nice smell.

Does the job without being heavy!
Expected this to weigh down by hair but it doesn’t. It’s lightweight, it’s amazing and I don’t know why I expected anything else because I love Living Propf products

Handy
I always have some form of frizz to my hair, especially when humid and this just smooths that top layer. Not a lot is needed or else it can seem a little heavy but if the right amount is used the effect is good.

Smells nice
The smell is nice but apart from that i don't think it does much and the ingredients like alcohol aren't really good for your hair.. I don't think i would repurchase

Smooth hair, even in ghastly weather
This is great for people with chemically treated hair or naturally curly hair. If your hair fizzes at the first hint of moisture, you need this. Caution though, as a little goes a long way. Gives you an enviable sleek shine and fits into a handbag for on-the-go use. Never look like Cousin It again!

Fab for frizz
I purchased the discovery set plus the 5 in 1 cream. This was my favourite item by far. It really works on my frizzy medium length hair. As an added bonus it smells great too.

This really worked for my wavy/curly hair!
I found this to work amazingly well on my wavy/curly hair. It smoothed and added shine without weighing my hair down (like oil sometimes does). Love having the mini size in my handbag for hair touch-ups, especially in humid weather.

How can alcohol defrizz ⁉️
I use several products from this line that I like a lot, so I didn't hesitate to get this defrizzing spray .... imagine my surprise when it not only didn't defrizz my hair at all, but made it even frizzier. Then I looked at the ingredients .... denatured alcohol in one of the first few listed, really? Into the garbage it went!
