A tall drink of water for parched pores, Laura Mercier's Pure Canvas Primer Hydrating helps to lock moisture into skin and keeps skin feeling fresh all day. Olive extract visibly smooths and locks in hydration while marine hydra botanicals replenish skin and promote long term moisture recovery.
Apply after skin care. Gently massage a dime-sized amount onto skin with fingertips. Follow with Tinted Moisturiser or Foundation.

Love this
This is the perfect little size for travelling. It glides on and leaves a slightly sticky finish. I can see it smoothes out my pores too once I apply foundation.Â

Just brilliant
I used this mask regularly for over a year, then had a long break from it for no other reason than that I was lucky to have been given other brands' masks as gifts. Several of them were nice, but none as good as this one. I use it on a weekend morning after a gentle cleanse and a squeezed-out warm flannel pressed on my face and throat. I pat my face dry and then apply the mask, leaving it on until it's light pink. Â After rinsing off easily I follow with a moisturising un-perfumed day cream. Â I have mature, dry skin so would never over-do a clay mask for fear of being too drying or reddening, but this one is perfect - my skin has a smoothness and a glow afterwards which lasts. I am so happy to have come back to it.Â

I first got this primer in the 2023 CB advent calendar and it’s honestly the best primer I’ve tried. Glides on and is invisible but has such a great hold on makeup. Keeps it looking natural and radiant and not caked on

Decent but pricey
This is quite a watery formula which I personally like, I'm not a fan of thick primers as they feel heavy on my face. This has good spreadability and feels hydrating. My only complaint is the price point feels quite high, but otherwise I really like it.

It's really a great primer, I bought it already a few times. Use it sometimes instead of the cream before makeup and it works well.

New go-to primer
I bought this primer after finding the illuminating version a bit too shiny for summer. It’s hydrating without being heavy and feels lovely to use. Makeup sits well and it works nicely alone too. I think the packaging is stylish and understated and so far it’s not running out too quickly.Â
