The legacy of Dr. Max Huber an aerospace physicist La Mer was born of a serendipitous breakthrough; in experiments to restore his own burns from a lab accident, he discovered a fermentation process that unlocked the regenerating potential of sea kelp and other pure ingredients now known as the Miracle Broth complex transforming his skin for the better in the process. Worth the wait!
I’ve been looking to buy this for so long now and wanted to buy it from here. There was never the colour I thought I’d need but Bisque was actually on point! I usually go for a neutral but this is unreal. It’s weird as it seems so lightweight but it’s actually such a good coverage. I love it.Â

I heard a lot of good things about this foundation, but I didn’t even think that it was so wonderful! This is the best foundation I've ever had in my life, and there have been many. I'm not a fan of the brand, but the foundation amazed me. Gives the skin smoothness, radiance, freshness, and a natural finish!

Expensive but worth it!
I really love this foundation. I was hesitant at first in regards to the price point but decided to purchase and it is *definitely* worth it. It isn't super full coverage, but it's perfect for those days when you want your skin to look like your skin, but better. It also doesn't sit in my pores like so many other foundations. Will definitely be re-purchasing!

Expensive but worth it
I kept on looking at this foundation and wouldn’t purchase as I thought it was too pricey and I was happy with my Charlotte tilbury. But I used up my status points and a gift card to purchase this and I’m not disappointed. Yes the smell initially is strong, but it wears off really quickly. The coverage is lovely and it feels like I have a serum on my face and not foundation. I can’t justify using this for every day, but I will definitely use on days when I want to look and feel a bit more special.Â

Holy grail foundation
I have oily skin which makes it very hard to find good long lasting foundation. I bought this foundation and was so surprised by how beautiful it is on the skin and that it lasts all day on me. It is so far the best foundation I’ve ever tried.

Foundation lovers, treat yourself
A beautiful weightless and very buildable foundation that has impressive longevity for a light to medium coverage formula. I apply this at 8am and by 8pm the foundation is still sitting pretty. I find I only need to apply a touch of setting powder in my t-zone vs adding more product. The formula includes lovely La Mer skincare ingredients which leave my skin looking hydrated and glowy whilst wearing and it has the added benefit of SPF20. I know this is a splurge purchase but for someone who uses foundation sparingly and prefers a makeup-skincare hybrid then I'd definitely recommend. I find foundation very personal so do your research on the formulation, coverage etc to see if this is the one for you.
