This perfectly smooth, silky cream highlighter adds an envy-inducing ‘just kissed by the sunset’ glow to any skin tone. The warm golden champagne pearl colour, with its subtly iridescent finish, can be used to enhance and accentuate the cheekbones, nose and brow line, bestowing a subtle, youthful glow.
Kjaer Weis Ravishing Highlighter adds a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ wherever it is applied. The sublimely smooth, silky texture of the cream formula allows it to melt into skin and blend seamlessly, giving a subtle, summery glow that will make you look like you’ve just been kissed by a midsummer sunset. The warm, golden champagne hue is perfect for enhancing and accentuating the high points of the face – cheekbones, nose, brow line – but can also be used as subtle, iridescent cream eyeshadow. Environmentally Adequate Packaging, But Very Short Shelf Life...
Performance wise this is a highlighter that belongs in the glossier department together with the likes of RMS and others rather than being blingy and glowy due to pigmentation gives shine through adding gloss that doesn't set. The result is subtle and nice, suitable for everyday use if you enjoy creamier products and doesn't have problems with make up melt down. I find the Kjaer Weis highlighter to be slightly less sticky compared to the RMS. The packaging though... As much as I love the idea of a non plastic package that is refillable a huge problem is it doesn't stay tight enough to keep air out and moisture in resulting in a very short shelf life of the product. Mine got bad after just a few months, and of course it might be so that it had been in a warehouse for a while before that. But according to the packaging it is supposed to last at least 6 months after opening. That in it self is too short of a time, since you do not finish a product like this in six months even if you use it everyday. I am quite convinced the shelf life would be much longer if the compartment could keep more tight. Bottom line this packaging is great for powder based products but not for cream products. For me the very same thing happened to the cream bronzer they have. Given the price shelf life becomes more important . When it comes off the product starts to smell like old lipstick and the consistency changes and hardens a bit. Pretty much becomes useless. Hope they can either change the formula or the packaging for this particular product! Even a lipstick container would work better if you ask me.
