Please don’t do it
1Please don’t buy this product, or get a tester first. Cons * It smears everywhere No matter how you apply it * it’s very pricey for how poor the performance is * consistency isn’t fab, chalky/ cakes as it comes out * it shows up EVERY SINGLE TINY HAIR on your face and I’m naturally blonde. I had to buy a face razor to try and smooth out the finish and I’d never normally have to bother. This doesn’t stop the caking in your eyebrows * it doesn’t apply evenly over the face no matter how much to work it * looks dry and cakes to begin with then melts in and goes very shiny Pros * smell is fine * squeezes out at your required amount as it isn’t pump action * stays relatively well put all day * didn’t cause any spots/ clogged pores etc * coverage as expected I think if you’re young and have fabulous skin already then this would be a great product for you. I’m 38 and while not spotty I have hyperpigmentation and although I like to see “skin” it’s the smearing with this product I can’t cope with for the money.

Save your bucks, don't buy!
1I find it very drying for a tinted (sheer) foundation, I thought this is supposed to be luminous but when I wear this, my skin looks lifeless and flat (BTW I have normal skin with no acne issues). The color range/shades are awful per se! Let me also mention that it separates on chin and forehead. I am very very very disappointed by this. I find the coverage to be light which is fairly expected out of a tinted moisturizer, but in the market there are better tinted moisturizer for lower price point. It is worth mentioning this is not build-able.

High hopes
3I have dry skin, really sensitive skin and I bought this foundation with high hopes. Unfortunately, my skin didn't feel any difference. I still could see dryness on my skin. There is no big difference with other foundations that I tried.

The Best!
5I not only love the feel of this on my skin, but the coverage is amazing for a skin tint. I hate thick, heavy coverage tints and foundations, I look for something that gives me just enough coverage to make my skin look better and this definitely delivers. It’s very thick so you need the tiniest amount. It causes me no irritation and stays put all day. I will definitely be repurchasing.

2Very thick and heavy feeling with light coverage. The undertones pull very pink on me (I am yellow/olive). Will I use it? Maybe. Probably not though. Bought this 10 months ago and wore it maaaybe five times.

Not great for acne prone skin
2This foundation broke me out every time I used it. I have sensitive skin (this foundation is really heavy and you can feel it on your face) and I had a really bad reaction with this thick foundation because of its thickness and consistency, you feel like your skin can’t breathe at all.

Love this!
5As with all Hourglass products, this skin tint is of exceptional quality. A little truly goes a long way. While it has a creamy consistency that may seem thick, you won't really feel anything on your skin once everything is blended properly. The amount of coverage you get is phenomenal, too! I have dehydrated combination clog-prone skin and this works great for me though I live in humid, hot Singapore. Their vanish stick foundation is great as well and I have both in Warm Ivory - great match for my nc25-ish neutral warm olive-ish light medium skin tone. :) If you have dry spots or patches, the Illusion tint should work better than the vanish stick foundation.

Mixed feelings
3When ordering I thought that would be a lightweight cream, but the texture was more like a concealer. I prefer watery foundations and this one is not my type. it's not easy to blend. I use a tiny amount of it otherwise it will be visible. Тональный очень тугой по текстуре. консистенция напоминает консилер. точно не понравится любителям жидких тональных текстур. использую минимальное количество, чтобы покрытие выглядело натурально. при таком варианте незаметен и лежит хорошо, шелушения незаметны, но подобные пляски с бубном при нанесении расстраивают каждый раз.
