water based for sure
3its nice and has a smooth feel when you put it on your skin- feels lightweight. I dont know what I was expecting but I didn't realise it would be water based (despite the title haha) so if you put makeup over it, it kind of only works well with makeup if its water based aswell. if you put oil based makeup (which most products are) Â it doesn't really work well. did the trick but pricey aswell for a small pot!

The perfect summer moisturiser
5This is perfect for my dehydrated skin during the summer months. It is the loveliest texture, and feels so juicy on the skin. My skin needs more in the winter months, but sometimes I'll layer this under my winter moisturiser for an extra boost, and it's great. A definite repurchase!

New fave moisturiser
5It is rare that I finish a moisturiser as I either get bored or my skin doesn't agree with the formula. I absolutely love this and can't see myself switching to another one for a long time, it is a great every day moisturiser and I have noticed improvements in my skin since using it.

Very lightweight
3I know this is a hydrogel cream but I was still surprised by the texture, it almost turned into a water like feeling on your face when you rubbed it in, which I didn’t like as much as if it were a creamy texture. It was very light on the face and didn’t feel moisturising enough for me, but if you have sensitive skin then maybe this is for youÂ

Watery!
3I’ve wanted to try this for ages as it’s had such good reviews but I wasn’t a fan. It turns to a watery consistency when applied to the skin which was an odd sensation and it didn’t leave my skin feeling plump or moisturised which is what I thought it would.Â
