My eyesight is frankly, terrible and one thing I've noticed after two decades of urban living all over our capital city, *London bathrooms have terrible lighting*! This wonder mirror is the answer to all of my make up issues - it's a like a really good friend who tells you 'like it is' in a nice way - when I use this I know that my make up is on fleek not on freak! I really miss it when on holiday. Some people don't like the idea of a magnified mirror, but x5 is just enough to help you spot a subtle tide mark, or a hair on your chin and the daylight bulb is flattering enough to stop one cancelling all meetings for the day and hiding under the duvet. This is in my Top Ten Beauty essentials I can't live without.Report this review
I love this and now wonder how I ever managed to do my make up (or anything really) without it. It's fab for eyebrow tidy ups, applying skincare to specific areas and make up of course. My only complaint would be (def 1st world problem) that there should be a button if you want to keep the light on - if I'm using the light to dry my hair or to do my make up, I have to keep waving my hand in front of the sensor to put the light back on. It would be great if there was either a switch or a longer delay before it turned off. Please post on here if I am missing a trick and there is a way to keep the light on :)Report this review
STOP THE PRESS!
Seriously, it took me about 5 weeks of umming and ahing due to the price of this product. I had stayed in the JW Marriott last year and has a similar mirror in the bathroom which I fell in love with, which is why I started looking into this product. I spend an enormous amount of my disposable income on makeup and spend a lot of time putting it on but somehow it never quite looks as great in the car mirror in daylight!! I ordered this mirror when Cult Beauty (which btw I totally love for their great products and outstanding service) had a discount running, it was the perfect way to talk myself into clicking 'add to bag'. I've now been using this mirror for about 3 weeks and it makes my makeup look flawless, I look like I have spent hours on it when in reality it only took me 15 minutes. If you are putting on makeup without this bad boy you really aren't doing yourself justice!!Report this review
Amazing, amazing mirror, even my scruffy boyfriend got a bit hooked looking at himself x5 in front of surgical lighting haha.Report this review
I've had this mirror for over a year now and still use it everyday. You can read my full review of it here: www.iheartbeauty.netReport this review
This is honestly worth every penny! I reccomend it for those who have bad eyesight and need to take they're glasses off to apply makeup or tweezing. You can also get great selfies using the light to make your picture clearer! Also the one charge lasts a long time and it extends to a good length. Plus you get a 5 year warranty with simplehuman.Report this review
I post-Christmas treated myself to the SimpleHuman illuminated mirror and it arrived today. OMG it's amazing!! I've just used it to do my "plucking". I'd saved up my chin (yes chin!) hairs until it arrived but I had done my brows at the weekend before going back to work. I was utterly amazed at how many brow hairs I had left behind that I could see with this mirror! I'm now happily plucked to within an inch of my life, smooth chin and brows = happy Lynne LOLReport this review
