Perfect for all hair & scalp types, even sensitive ones, this formula is made up of 97% natural origin ingredients and works to soothe itchy scalps and extend the time between washes. With your scalp's microbiome at the heart of this formula, it seeks to balance it in order to regulate sebum and prevent itchiness and dandruff. The non-foaming cleansing base is derived from coconut and fruit sugars, while gentle, slow-release lactic acid encourages your scalp to maintain at its optimal pH level and a blend of prebiotics helps to 'feed' your skin's good bacteria. It's also enriched with fermented rice water to encourage healthy, shiny hair, plus, soothing mafura oil works to deeply hydrate and protect your head of hair. More than proving itself in a clinical study - carried out by 24 people with have sensitive/delicate scalp, subject to irritation/itching - 83% agreed that irritation was reduced; 79% agreed that it relieves feelings of itching and hair is easy to comb. Apply onto your roots and massage into the scalp and wet hair. Leave for up to two minutes, then rinse.
They recommend alternating with your normal shampoo at first. Start using it once or twice a week instead of your normal shampoo, with the time you will notice hair needs washing less often.

Does what it says
I do really enjoy using this and find it a very gentle wash. My hair and scalp feel clean afterwards but I find I have to use a ridiculous amount in order to get through my thick hair and also because it doesn’t foam at all. Like the product but am going through it too quickly to make it good value.

Makes my scalp feel very soft and relaxed
I have curly hair with a dry top layer. When I first tried this product I sought to calm my scalp, which felt itchy because of some previous shampoo. When I first washed my hair with this, it felt like a cloud of softness and relief. It feels great. I rotate two shampoos, one of which must be non-lathering cream shampoo, and this is the best one I have ever tried!

not sure
I'm not sure if this product does contribute to the buildup on my scalp so I'm sort of on the fence with this. I will say though it is quite soothing especially on the days where my scalp is quite irritated and itchy. I also like how it sort of feels like a conditioner for the scalp as I obviously can't use my regular conditioner on my scalp. Leaves my scalp slightly moisturised but not greasy, clean but not dry. I'm also not sure if it makes my scalp get oilier faster than usual. I am confusion lol
