    Make Up Artist
Morag was born in Glasgow and studied at Glasgow School of Art. While studying for her degree in mural design she started make up as a hobby which in turn became a passion, inspired by the work of Serge Lutens for Shiseido . It was the early 80's and both the Punk and the New Romantic movements were a great platform for 'art make ups'. After graduating she trained in make up with the BBC in London, building the foundation for her career in films. To date she has won three BAFTA awards - for "Orlando" with Tilda Swinton, "The Aviator" with Cate Blanchett, and a BAFTA Craft Award in 2008. She has worked as a Make Up Artist specialising in beauty on many international movies such as "Fools of Fortune" with Julie Christie, "Edward II" with Tilda Swinton, "Lost in Translation" with Scarlett Johansonn, and Cate Blanchett in "Charlotte Gray", "Bandits", "Elizabeth the Golden Age" and "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".

    KaplanMD

    Lip Mask

    The results are phenomenal
KaplanMD make the most incredible lip treatments. The mask exfoliates and stimulates the lips and the immediate surrounding area, so you get a nice plumping effect and the balm is ultra moisturising, with an SPF to boot! It is rich and glossy with a lovely, rich 'balm' texture - if it feels or looks too much depending on the situation, just blot it after a couple of minutes, then apply your lip colour as usual. The results are phenomenal - kiss goodbye to dry, chapped lips!

    Beautyblender

    Micro Minis

    EYE-deal for under-eyes
Having been a fan of the original Beautyblender sponge - I just love the minis. I do like to use my fingers to apply foundation, but I find the mini sponges are PERFECT for under eyes, around the nose and round the chin areas. They are more delicate in texture and are the correct size for those hard to reach zones. Also great where a small area needs more coverage. I find that I go through them more quickly, but they're worth it for the great finish you can achieve with them.

    Surratt

    Artistique Blush

    Ultra-chic and silky soft
I could gush for hours about all of the SURRATT Beauty range. The powder blushers are silky smooth in texture and come in both matte or subtle, shimmer finishes. I like to use three shades to contour (Grisaille) highlight (Aureole) and enhance - my go-to shade of-the-moment 'Tu Mi Fais Rougir' - a soft, universally flattering blue-pink. Ultra-chic packaging, and the palettes come in two sizes so you can mix cheek and eye colours if you wish. Sublime.

    Pixi

    Glow Tonic

A permanent part of my kit
I know this is a great seller and I love it too. I always have it as part of my pro kit. I use it on artists to prep skin before a mini facial in the morning, before make up application. It's gentle enough, so doesn't cause skin upsets, but it will break down dulling dead cells and help to smooth the skin's surface. Skin prep is everything!
