Protects but won't be repurchasing
3This product does its primary job - it protects the skin and I have never been sunburned while having it on. You don't have to put a lot to cover the whole face so it is not that expensive when you see how long it has lasted you. Having said that, the formula consistency is just bad. It seemed to be runny from the first time I opened the bottle, leaves you with a white color and what bugs me the most it peels. When this happened the first couple of times, I thought that it just doesn't go well with makeup as I used it under my foundation, but the same thing happened when I was on a vacation and makeup-free. Won't be repurchasing.

Bad consistency
2It has a very gritty, liquidy, grainy consistency so the packaging is really not suitable for the product. The smell is strong and quite bad, leaves a white film on the skin and takes quite some time to absorb, but at least it protects your skin. I wouldn't recommend or repurchase it.

Protects well but has a few problems
3The consistency of the product is very odd and very gritty/runny - doesn’t work so well in that tube with a screw on lid. The smell is for me quite off-putting and stays all day. However; the reason I give it three is because I find that once it has absorbed, it feels nice and it seems to protect my skin well. For the comments about piling, I only experience it when I have other products underneath, if I only use it alone it goes on nice and smooth. For me the smell is why I probably wouldn’t purchase again.

Where do I start?
5Not only does a little go a long way but this has got to be one of the few SPF's I've tried that allows your skin to breath O_o The product is very lightweight and just all-round amazing! The products finish is also a winner for me as it doesn't leave that super shiny film that some SPF's have. #WinnerForMe #StockUp #Love Lastly being a physical SPF it protects from the sun as soon as it’s applied, no wait needed, less likely to block pores and is better for sensitive skin. Over and out.

Could work for dry skin!
3Very oily for my acne-prone skin. Metallic smell and leaves a white cast. Avoid application close to the eye area! Definitely not a great choice for daily use. I only use it when I go to the beach.

Terrible for price
1I bought this after many people said it was an excellent sunscreen for under makeup... however I’ve tried to work with this so many times and it just keeps pilling. I thought maybe it could be due to the products I’m using underneath it so I tried using on bare skin and it still manages to pill. Literally a waste of £29. Soooo disappointed!!!!!

Disappointed
2Love Drunk Elephant and have tried most of the products but this sunscreen is not good. It pills very easily, especially if you mix it with products that are not in the same range and it leaves a white cast. It's thick - l now usually mix it with the sunshine drops but despite them saying that's OK l am sure the efficaciousness of the SPF is effected. The only product so far that l would not recommend or repurchase.

Drunk Elephant Physical Sun screen
4Really like the formula, it feels nice and hydrating. The consistency is a tiny bit gritty but that's always the case with this type of sunscreen. It leaves a white cast and a slight greasy finish that disappears after 20 mins or so. I think it's kind of over priced as you can get similar ones for a better price, but it works with my sensitive skin.

Comically bad
1I don't even know what to say. It comes out of the tube like runny, gritty, greasy paint. Applied to the skin it... curdles. I can't even call it pilling, it's more like it's stringy and curdly. Maybe chunky even. I've tried it over serums and just straight on the skin, and it doesn't work either way. It just does not want to cooperate. I don't think this product should have been released, it is just unusable. There are loads of mineral sunscreens that manage to be cosmetically elegant, I don't see how a huge company like DE couldn't manage to make one.
