The shape ruins it for me
3I really like the formula - it's hydrating but pleasant feeling, not waxy or greasy, and with only a subtle scent/taste. And I like the relatively "clean" ingredients since this is something I'm sure I inadvertently ingest. But for me the packaging (and to lesser extent price) knocks it down a few stars. It's so wide that I always end up getting some on my face (and I hate to waste it at this price) instead of my lips, and it's bulkier than it needs to be so it doesn't fit well in a pocket/handbag. It would probably be my go-to daily balm if they put it into a skinnier tube but as it is I just can't justify it.

5i had high hopes for this, and it did not disappoint, like most things with drunk elephant,  it’s completely worth it, applicator is unique and a little messy but my lips have never felt so loved!

One of my favourites
5Perhaps a little pricy compared to the amount of product you get, but this is one of very few lip moisturisers that maintain and repair the moisture in my lips and prevent them from cracking further. So for me the price is justified

Nourishing
4I have a vast collection of lip balms and treatments as I constantly have dry/cracked lips, no matter what the season! So when I saw this on sale I thought I'd give it a go and I'm glad I did. It's not exactly earth shattering, I mean, it is just a lip balm, but it does the job and does it well, I can really feel it sinking into my lips. I've seen reviews which complain about the fact that it's far wider than a 'normal' lip balm stick, but I actually really like that! I t's not difficult to swirl it around, I mean, EOS lip balms were/are hugely popular and they aren't traditional stick balms, this is no different! I do feel it's quite expensive at full price, so would probably only buy it again if it was on sale, but it's certainly a decent product and one which I use very often, a definite upgrade to a boring supermarket brand or generic Chapstick!

4Needs reapplying quite regularly. It is hydrating but a bit too pricy for the results it gives

3This lip balm from Drunk Elephant is perfectly acceptable, but I think there are others on the market that are more hydrating. Wish it had SPF in it! Good for a quick top balm top up during the day.

5I love this lip balm so much that I have them in my handbag, next to my bed, in my bathroom… you name it, I have one of these tucked there. It makes my lips really soft and keeps winter chapping away too.
