    • Why it's Cult

Everybody in the Cult’s getting tipsy! Serious skin, hair and body care heroes that don’t take themselves super seriously, Drunk Elephant’s rise to the top of the industry pops has been (rightfully!) meteoric. Founded by Tiffany Masterson who wanted to formulate products without any ‘fillers’, this all-star collection is powered by biocompatible actives – a mix of synthetic and plant-derived extracts – that skin recognises and knows what to do with. And, because of their ingredient-elimination philosophy, you won’t find any of the following ‘Suspicious 6’ – drying alcohols, silicones, SLS, chemical screens, essential oils or fragrances/dyes – so you can ‘reset’ your complexion and help both your skin and your tresses to flourish like never before.

Drunk Elephant - E-Rase Milki Micellar Water

Drunk Elephant E-Rase Milki Micellar Water Reviews

    Who knew?!
I really very rarely go for a micellar water, I'm always a double cleanse kind of gal with a balm/oil for my makeup stage cleanse, and just find micellars to be a bit long-winded. Enter Drunk Elephant! This has a beautiful milky texture so it feels like it has a bit more to it than most watery formulations, it removes makeup seamlessly, I've even tested it on a bold red lip and it worked like a dream. It feels beautiful on your skin, it's particularly lovely in this heatwave we are getting as my first cleanse at night and feels so refreshing and cooling. I always cleanse after using it, even though you don't need to rinse, I just prefer to. The only time I might not is when I'm working out first thing and just want a light quick cleanse to remove my product before-hand. This has been a real favourite of mine recently and I never thought I would say that about a micellar formula! I wouldn't replace cleansing with this, but for quick makeup removal and refreshes before working out, this is amazing! My only issue is the packaging, I find it just slightly messy with it being so milky and coming out of a smaller dispenser, I feel like a pump up type bottle would be amazing for this so you can pump directly onto your cotton pad and avoid any spillage.
    Irritated my skin
I was excited to try this after falling in love with some of DE's other products, but unfortunately I'm not enjoying this one as much. My skin turned pretty red after using it, and burned a little, which is weird because I don't have particularly gentle skin. Other that that I don't really care for the texture and it does struggle with heavier makeup, as other reviewers stated.
    It’s okay
I needed something to replace my Glossier milky water makeup remover and wanted to try something new. Came across this and it’s definitely good for light makeup days - or if you come home after a couple drinks and don’t want to fully wash your face haha. Struggled to take mascara off with it, haven’t tried on red lipstick but feel like that would be a nightmare. Happy that it doesn’t leave a residue and doesn’t leave the skin feeling stripped, although it didn’t particular hydrate either. It claims that you don’t need another cleanser after and that’s definitely false - if I’m doing my routine after a day out with a full face I would use this as a first step, followed by an oil cleanser and a good acid toner. Will be going back to glossier.
    Refreshing
I usually opt for a cleansing balm or oil to remove my makeup in the evening but I do like having micellar water as an option if I'm only wearing a little bit of concealer or as a quick refresher. This has a slightly milky texture which I really like, it felt gentle on my skin and left it feeling really hydrated. I did try to remove my mascara with this but I found I was having to rub the eye area quite a bit and I still had lots of mascara left on my lashes. I really like using this on no makeup days or in the morning but if you are looking for a really effective makeup remover I would go for Slaai instead.
    Wow this is a HG
I bought this as pure indulgent but it's firmly part of my regime. Is a creamy lovely solution that great to use and totally not just a water. I use it as a final step after a cleanse as my second cleanse. The tingle is lovely and last seconds. Been using it a week and surprised at how little is needed, as its a thick creamy consistency (not the water you expect) it's a holy grail.
    Love it!
First time I use this and I love it! Great for that morning cleanse! A new HG for me!
Can I give this six stars?
So nice to use. Cooling, fresh, a smooth rather than sticky finish - lovely. I had the tiniest bit of tingling in the first 10-15 seconds after applying, but my face felt immediately soft and fresh/clean. Not sure I would trust it for full makeup removal, but on a bare face it’s just lovely.
    A pleasant surprise
I'm a dry girl so normally micellar water is a no go for me because my skin just absorbs it and I feel like it doesn't actually clean my skin, but this one, wow, it's a slightly thicker texture, almost gel like leaving my skin feel refreshed and clean. I haven't used it in the evening to take off make up as I enjoy using this kind of cleanser in the morning as a refresh and went I do my skin looks supple and clean!
Nice but only for light cleansing and not really good value
It’s not a water it’s a lotion. I agree with other reviewers that it works fine on light make up. Note how many reviewers use this as only one of the steps in their cleansing routine so again, light make up use only. Actual miscellar water gives a deeper clean. It is gentle and creamy and does not dry out the skin. I think it is not really value for money though. I feel I would get much the same result with a standard unperfumed simple cleansing lotion which would be a fraction of the price but without the fancy packaging and name.
    Love it!
Amazing for a morning cleanse as anything else would be too stripping for my face. This has a ph of 5.0 which I think is ideal as a toner or a quick refreshing cleanse as well. It’s also good as the first step of a double cleanse however wouldn’t just use it on its own for make up removal. Overall would definitely recommend and will be repurchasing!
    Drunk Elephant Micellar Water
This isn't just a makeup remover, it's a cleanser and toner treatment for the skin. It's convenient having a thorough, gentle cleanser not requiring a rinse off in the bathroom. It's a product I'll not want to be without. It's gentle, it's fragrance-free and every ingredient is good for the skin. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
    Love, love, love...
Not sure I could live without this now, it’s just what I never knew I needed! I like to tone after double cleansing but most toners leave my skin tight feeling. This however removes the last traces of any residual makeup, mascara, etc. whilst making my skin feel soft and supple. 100% recommend I absolutely love it.
Mi piace! / I like it!
Ottimo prodotto, non lo uso come struccante ,ma per completare la pulizia del viso : e’ delicato lascia la pelle morbida e comodo xche non necessita di risciacquare con acqua ,mi piace moltissimo. Excellent product, I do not use it as a make-up remover, but to complete face cleansing: it is gentle, it leaves the skin soft and comfortable because it does not need to be rinsed with water, I like it very much.
