Informed by her daily work as an aesthetic doctor and her scientific research, Dr. Barbara Sturm collaborated with the Golden Globe-winning actress Angela Bassett to formulate a luxury skin care range tailored to the essential dermatological needs and characteristics of skin of colour. Scientifically designed to meet the needs of darker skin tones, this Face Cream is a must-have for a beautifully glowing, clear and balanced complexion – with or without make up. In addition, specific active youth-preserving ingredients promote cell renewal, while Purslane activates the skin’s own anti-oxidant defence system, calms inflammation and protects sensitive cell membranes against free radical attack. The active cell-protecting ingredient Telovitin, which is based on Nobel Prize-winning discoveries, provides an additional anti-aging benefit. It protects against premature degradation of the telomeres, enabling cells to divide more often and for longer. The cream gives skin a more even appearance and leaves the complexion glowing.
Use morning and/or evening, after cleansing. Apply gently to the face, neck and décolleté as well as to the delicate area around the eyes. FACE CREAM does not contain any sun protection filters. For sun protection you can add a few drops of Dr. Sturms SUN DROPS to the cream or use them separately 5 minutes after applying.

Overpriced for what it is
I was desperate to try this as I'd heard great things but I've been disappointed. Wouldn't buy again at this price point

Dr. Strum face cream
I tried the samples for darker skin tones first and loved them I noticed a difference in just a couple of days my skin tone was smoother pores less visible and after 4/6 weeks of using the samples that's how long they lasted roughly, I still have some of the enzyme cleanser left a little goes a long way with that one and surprisingly the foam cleanser lasted longer then I thought it would. Overall great products after years of trying practically every product on the market for visible pores and dehydrated skin, from low end to high end this has to be the best I've tried and seen the results I've wanted. I have gone on to purchase the full size foam cleanser and darker skin tones face cream. Yes the creams drops and serums are expensive but they work for me so I no longer have to keep wasting money every month on products that don't work for my skin I now only invest in the ones that do and this is the ONE :)

Not suitable for acne-prone skin
Although does lead to a healthy glow, caused skin to be more bumpy leading to closed comedones on my cheeks which are still taking months to heal. I have found the Medik8 c-tetra cream a much better alternative that is light and absorbs into the skin - this moisturiser on the other hand tends to sit on the skin

Dr. Strum face ceam
I bough the sample set and it was brilliant. It moisturised my skin without causing breakouts, it also brighten my skin. Satisfied with the results I bought the 50 mls. I could feel it’s a clean product no Vaseline like texture in the moisturiser. I think the sample set is better quality because I have skin breakouts while using the full size moisturiser, I don’t Know if this is because of the facial mask I use when working. It also didn’t make my skin brighter as it was when I was using the sample set. I was more impressed with the sample set

Great buy!
This moisturizer may be pricey but it’s totally worth it. I’m mixed race and have uneven skin, I find this product helps in creating a brighter, healthier and glowy tone. The component is heavy and luxurious to the touch and the cream itself is the perfect consistency between light and heavy. It definitely hydrates and is a must by if you want step up your skin game!

works very well for my skin type as I'm a woman of colour and its geared towards woman like myself, I'm very happy my only grumble is the price hence 4 stars instead of 5
