Disappointing formulation
3I love the rest of the range, but this formula feels instantly tight on my skin and without something very nourishing on top, leaves me uncomfortably dry.

Amazing results!
5My skin loves vitamin C and this one was a dream to apply. No stickiness, soooo much luminosity and smoothness. Face looks like it glimmers in the sun after using this product and applying make up. I, personally, had a wonderful experience with this Vitamin C. Already have a back up and will continue to repurchase.

Average, overpriced
2I won't buy this again, it's not terrible and hasn't irritated my sensitive skin. I would say it's just very basic and feels unsophisticated as a formula. I think it's too expensive for what it is. It's a bit sticky and feels like it sits on my skin rather than absorbing (though it doesn't pill, which is good). I cannot see a huge difference in my skin after weeks of use, though there have been no visible downsides. I love Dennis Gross products and will use it up, but will stick to Drunk Elephant for my C serum.

Great serum
5I'm very impressed by the results. I have combination skin with pores and redness, but this serum, applied before going to bed, works miracles.. pores are tighter, the skin surface smoother, redness is gone (nothing else has ever helped me to fight redness!) It also has accumulated effect, makes your skin better and better in the long run.

Watch out
1I got a sample of this a while ago from Cult Beauty and decided to try it out. After just a few minutes I got red patches all over my face and burning sensations so I immediately washed it off my face. :( I regret not reading the reviews on this first, as I see other ladies have experienced something similar to me.

Do a patch test first, you might end up with a red face
1I purchased the serum and used it with the C + Collagen Deep Cream. I felt a slight burn when I first applied it on and woke up the next morning with red patches on my face. I reapplied both the next night but got an even more severe burning sensation within seconds of putting it on so I washed the product off however the burning feeling continued and the red patches became more prominent and itchy which later became severely dry, itchy, rough, and bumpy the following morning. I haven't used the product since and have been using aloe vera gel for over 5 days now however my skin still hasn't recovered and the burning, itchiness, dryness and rough skin continued. I have normal to dry skin and never experienced sensitivity or such a reaction to any products I have used including those with Vitamin C. I would recommend doing a patch test before fully applying it on the face. I emailed Dr Dennis Gross and their only response was that this is not a normal reaction and that I should hydrate my skin. Never again!

Sticky texture
2I used it this morning, and it did give me a hydrated base for makeup, however I do not like the sticky texture at all. It laid on the surface and did not melt into my skin as I would have liked. Perhaps the plastic finish is the glow? In any case, I finished it up given the price point, but did not see any improvements to my skin overall. I would definitely not repurchase.

SO not worth the money
2I bought this because my skin has problems with vitamin E. This is a pathetic product for this much money. Gives you little brightening but much, much cheaper product can achieve the same. This is my first and last from Dr. Dennis Gross.

Just no.
2I got a sample of that product and was quite excited to try it because I love both vitamin C products and serum formulas. Unfortunately, this product feels really tight on the skin and doesn't smell very nice. I had to take it off after 10 min, just because I couldn't stand it anymore. I would not recommend it, especially for that price.

Works best with daily peel
5I have used many vitamin c products on my acneic and scared skin and they usually give me spots. This one is brilliant and I find it works best in conjunction with the daily peel pads. I have sensitive skin and have had no problems with this at all.
