Powered by natural, gentle ingredients, Davines’ Calming Shampoo will nourish and soothe even the most sensitive of scalps. Think of this strand saviour as self care for your hair; a kind of comforting candlelit bath after a long, hard day for your locks.
To effectively cleanse without causing irritation to sensitised, itchy scalps, this shampoo avoids harsh cleansing agents that can be the worst offenders when it comes to aggravating the skin. In their place are phytoceuticals (that’s plant-derived active ingredients) extracted from blueberries. Thanks to antioxidant-fuelled polyphenols, these natural actives gently calm inflammation and promote overall scalp health.
Apply 20g product to the scalp with a very light massage. Rinse and repeat application if necessary.

Did not calm my scalp
I really wanted this shampoo to work as I love the Davines OI range but it did not calm or relieve my scalp. I go through stages of having an itchy scalp so was looking for a shampoo to use to relieve and calm my scalp when it flares up. This did not calm in anyway and my scalp was immediately itchy and irritated when I used it.
