Suitable for liquid and cream foundations, this investment piece is perfect for ensuring easy, uniform application of your full coverage foundation. Its angled head and dense fibres are key to making the foundation adhere closely to your skin, while its soft, ultra-fine synthetic fibres minimise friction against your skin and feel supremely luxurious. The elegant brush is designed with a tapered handle that allows for easy control and comfortable grip, facilitating effortless blending motions for a seamless finish in no time at all. Apply the desired amount of foundation to the palm of your hand. Dot foundation to five points (forehead, nose, chin, and both cheeks) on the face with your fingertip. Starting at the center of your face, blend outward with the brush, holding it perpendicular to the skin and using light tapping motions.
Working outward, blend foundation into skin, holding the brush at a slight angle. Repeat the same steps on the other side of your face.
Along the facial outline, stroke the brush in a light up-and-down motion to blend flawlessly.
For less-than-smooth areas, such as the nose and corners of the mouth, apply foundation holding the brush perpendicular to the face so that the brush tip fits against the skin.
With the tip of the brush pointed upward, lightly slide the brush inward along the cheekbone and the jawline.

Lovely foundation brush
I love this foundation brush. It is smooth, it won’t leave any marks on your face. Also it won’t eat your foundation. Only a small amount of Cle de peau foundation can cover the whole face.

Brilliant
Years of dedication to Hourglass brushes mean I am used to products being excellent. This brush makes very light effort of applying the Cdp foundations but is also excellent for others too. The case for storage is great and the long handle is a great artistic aesthetic but I hope for a compact version one day for travel and my ‘touch up’ make up bag. Brilliant investment, worth the money.

Worth the price
I have seen a lot of hype surrounding this brush and I have to say I can see why. It is so soft but still manages to blend perfectly. The length and shape of the handle makes it really nice to hold and the shape of the brush allows you to get into all the areas of your face. I can’t think of a single negative thing except I would love it to be less expensive.

Really nice brush, but does leave some streaks, better than other brushes though. Still prefer beauty blender.

Worthy investment
I wanted to find a perfect foundation brush and this was finally it. Glides very nicely, goes well with Cle De Peu foundation, little bit of streaking but with the the right technique not an issue.

The best brush!
This brush is one of the best I've come across. Perfect for foundation (compact), contouring (thin and precise). Well worth the price point! Also, it's very easy to clean and I haven't lost any bristles. Love it!

Lovely
Yes it’s expensive but it it lays down any foundation flawlessly. Due to the size it quick too but the thinner end is great for getting into smaller areas. Big recommend

Doesn't like to be cleaned
The best foundation brush unless you need to clean it. I've been really careful and washed it all of three times and it's fell apart 💔 I've had no other brush do this.....ever.

Faubulous!
This is one of the best foundation brushes I have ever used. Shaped so that it gets into all the awkward areas perfectly and it feels very soft to the skin. It also enabled me to apply my foundation quicker than normal. Expensive but I am so pleased I purchased it.
