The book of knowledge
I believe everyone should own this book. I love how simple it is to follow and how Caroline breaks down so many myths or false information within the beauty industry. If you are just starting out and feel overwhelmed by the amount of information and product that is out there you need to read this first. I can't count how many times I have gifted my friends this book. And afterwards they are all so grateful and feel so much more confident about their skin and routine. I will keep mine forever and continue to gift it.

I will save this for my daughter one day
This has everything you need to know: 1. routines for each age group from teens to forever, as in, what products do you need at different levels of your life, or sooner, depending on your habits 2. product recommendations for each category 3. am and pm routines with how-to pictures 4. what to do in different situations: gym (different classes), festivals, flights, etc 5. advice alongside routines and product recommendations for every skin types and lots of skin conditions... man. It is GREAT. a bible really

Bible
I've been an avid, reader, follower, viewer, and fellow freak of Carolines for years now. This may cause a slight bias review but I have to say this is taking skincare and skincare education to the next level. Within the last 5 years, skincare has become a more spoken about, respected, and invested topic. The book (bible) has Caroline's tone down to a tee, it's conversational, funny, and easy to read. I'm dyslexic so one of my biggest struggles when learning about skincare is learning ingredients/names/purpose, this is so beautifully broken down, sectioned with relevance and low and behold, pictures, graphs and still image tutorials for those (me) who need a break from reading or work better with a visual. The one thing that stuck with me and rings true is Caroline's ability to back anything up with fact/science. This is perfect for a beginner into beauty, wanting to brush up your knowledge, skincare junkie, or someone who genuinely prefers reading a book over a blog or Instagram post.

Great for beginners, but...
Overall, it's a good book, written in Caroline's signature style. However, the author makes a lot of absolute statements on quite debatable issues, without providing explanation nor reference to scientific articles, which is not appreciated.

Cardinal rules of skincare..
This book answered all of my skincare questions. An absolute A-Z guide on the do’s and dont’s in classic Caroline humor. Definitely recommend to those who want to learn more about skincare and how to get the most of your products.
