Brimming with potent detoxifiers and antioxidants, Oskia’s 100% natural, peel-off Citylife Detox Mask neutralises free radicals and environmental impurities to refresh and protect skin. Activated binchotan (charcoal) powder and kaolin (black clay) bind to toxins and pollutants, drawing impurities and excess sebum from pores to deeply clean skin. Rich in copper, malachite protects against environmental stress and reboots the body’s key antioxidant, glutathione. To bolster the antioxidant action, there’s ingenious ingredient astaxanthin, which is 6000 times stronger than vitamin C at fiercely ‘mopping up’ free radicals, alongside O3 yeast lysate, which is proven to protect DNA and the natural lipid barrier from harmful radicals. To relax skin and quell any irritation, hydrating camelia japonica flower is combined with soothing horse chestnut. Cooling and calming, this Detox Mask is delivered as a powder and liquid that must be mixed together, left to set for 20 minutes then gently peeled off – just the ticket after a busy day, especially for city dwellers.
1. Hold Disc with seam vertically. Squeeze Liquid side until it bursts fully along the seam into the Powder side.
2. Place hands either side of Disc and roll 6-8 times quickly between palms, mixing the powder & liquid together.
3. Turn Disc 60 degrees. Repeat rolling.
4. Turn and repeat 4 times until mixed thoroughly.
5. Mixing should take no longer than 30 seconds.
6. Tear along tear-strip and apply immediately to face and neck, leaving eye and mouth orbitals.
7. Application should take no longer than 30 seconds. Leave for 20 mins to set. Peel off and rinse.
N.b. the glitter-like residue you might notice is light-reflecting mica particles, which instantly lift and brighten skin.

Citylife Detox Mask
Most of the Oskia Products I love, however I feel this one wasn't as good as I expected. The product is very messy and does not mix well, one of the discs burst creating a mess in my bathroom. The product was very expensive.

No, Oskia.
Glitter. Why? You’re more sophisticated than that, Oskia. Secondly, the results were beautiful, my skin felt clean, refreshed, and my pores appeared smaller. However, it is absolutely 100% not worth the faff. It’s a nightmare to mix fully and removing it left more slime-like glittery blobs all over my sink than a rave-going snail.

I’ve given it two stars because when I had it on it felt nice like it better was absorbing into my skin and I felt so relaxed. And I LOVE Oskia products normally. But, putting it all together wasn’t the easiest. You’ve got to mix it quickly before it sets apparently. (It doesn’t)

Mess, mess, mess
I love the Citylife collection by Oskia, this product, however, is a huge downer. First of all, it took me absolute ages and two university degrees to get through the how-to-use part. Turn 60 degrees?! Come on! Still, I'm not sure I mixed it the right way because the resulting gloopy sticky impermeable black slurry was a challenge to apply. What a letdown, as the ingredients could have made a great mask!

Very disappointed
This looked like a great product at first, but it turned out to be a super messy and fidgety! It didn’t harden and did not peel off. Apart from that the blue glitter from the mask is still stuck to my face and hands.

A breath of fresh air for your skin
After using this, I felt like my skin had just taken a deep breath of fresh, clean, icy air (ideal if you are feeling the effects of pollution... or partying). It instantly made my complexion brighter and more even, I am really impressed with the immediate results. It feels like there is a lot of it in one sachet but just keep layering it on – this makes it easier to peel off once it's set.
