Rose gold colour

Rose gold colour. I bleached my hair before using this product. But after 30 minutes there was no big difference on my bleached hair, just a hint of pink... that’s all. But it did make my hair soft and manageable. It’s great for conditioning. ❤️

What’s everyone complaining about? It’s great colour pay-off

5

Before I review, it’s worth noting that I have naturally very dark, warm brown hair that’s recently been bleached for balayage. It’s also cut into a shoulder length bob. I used ‘Awkward Peach’ last night. I brushed my dry hair, rinse it with water, and towel dried as instructed. I then sectioned my hair into thirds and used the whole bottle squeezing out handfuls of product at a time. I combed through and repeated until the whole bottle was on my hair. I went up to the roots just in case it tinted my natural colour and also to make sure it was a seamless application. I put a shower cap on and left it to develop for half an hour. I rinsed. I air dried my hair. The result… Perfectly peachy. It’s not pastel, because my hair was mid blonde where bleached and it went a little pink because I had a lot of warmth left over from my last toner. I don’t understand what everyone is moaning about… If the colour hasn’t worked, you probably didn’t use enough product. BLEACH does say to use more bottles on longer hair. In terms of fading, I’m expecting it to fade very quickly, but that’s what it says on the bottle, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone! It’s basically a wash-in-wash-out colour. Besides, it’s only £6.50, so I say go for it! What’s the worst that can happen? (Obviously be a bit more mindful of using blues on blonde hair but I used peach, so can only speak on behalf of that side of the colour spectrum)

The Big Pink

5

I have a balayage hair and the bottom end of my hair is a coppery yellow. This product turned that colour into a gorgeous bright pink (but not too bright). The colour lasted 3 washes and I got 2 usages out of the bottle. I applied it to dry hair and left it on for 30 minutes.

Waste of money

Bought Dusky Pink and applied exactly as directed. I have bleached hair and wasn’t expecting much but at least some sort of difference but not even a subtle tinge. Gutted.

Cloudbusting

Colour: Cloudbusting. My hair colour: a mix of Champagne and light Blonde. Hair type: Long (above mid back), straight, fine, thin. Usage: 3/4 of a bottle. It's a very subtle soft pink-purply-blue (dominant shade is Pink) and adds just a hue to my hair. This colour is almost like a toner I'd say, my blonde looked much brighter and the pinkish undertone is softly visible under certain light. I added another application overnight and see it's slightly more visible, still very faint and soft but personally I love it - adds a bit of "mystery"; it looks blonde and suddenly there's a glimpse of a cool pink as the light catches it - magical one can say. I used 3/4 of a bottle, BUT my hair is not solid light blonde. I'm thinking of doing one last application with the rest, however I actually do like this mysterious pink tint in my blonde. The colour will definitely show up better on solid platinum blonde. If you're looking for colour to be obvious-visible, you need VERY light blonde or preferably platinum for this colour. Otherwise it makes a great "toner". Oh and I must include that it added a gorgeous shine to my dull (over-processed) hair. Personally I'm pleased with it, again do bear in mind these soft and light colours are mostly suitable VERY blonde hair. (For example, White Heat will not turn Golden Blonde hair White.) Going to try Rose, and Rose Gold next - I think these will look stunning on my shade of blonde. Just to some up - Brightens hair- Adds untertone - Adds shine- 1-3 uses in bottle depending on hair length, thickness & colour.

Lovely colour, shame it only lasts one wash

2

It does say on the bottle that it lasts between 2 to 10 washes and I found that half of the colour had gone with 1 wash so was very disappointed. Went back to using Pravana and mixing a very similar colour which is currently lasting a lot longer (2 washes in and no fade).

Waste of money

1

Bought scotch mist and odd fuchsia, the colour of the liquid was so much lighter than the photos (viewed in both laptop and phone screen) My hair was bleached 2-3 times. I applied as much as possible and left them for more than 30 minutes, there was no difference at all. Even the sliver shampoo did more difference than this hair colour product. Waste of money and disappointed.
