BECCA Zero No Pigment Virtual Foundation Reviews

    Don’t bother
I ummed and ahhed for ages before buying this and read so many reviews before I finally gave in. I didn’t expect too much as had read mixed reviews. But I’ve been so disappointed. I have good skin and honestly it barely does a thing. My skin barely looks any different, perhaps even a little worse. Very disappointed.
Good but too expensive for what it offers
I use this to go to the gym and when I don't want to wear foundation. I do believe my skin looks better and stays matte during the day. The texture is very nice and it has a cooling effect. I would buy it again if it was cheaper, I just don't think it's worth the price.
    Nice idea
...but if something sounds to good to be true, it usually is. This just about works as an expensive primer, but definitely not a foundation in any way.
    Very disappointing.
This product didn’t work as described. Very disappointing waste of money.
    Useless
A primer at best! Definitely not a foundation!
    Love it
I have blemish free but older skin (65 years old) and what this product does for me is reflect light differently so that fine lines don't show. Thus my skin looks better and I both look and feel younger. Adding an SPF would make it worth 5 stars, I have given it only 4.
    Rubbish
Waste of money. It’s maybe a primer but shouldn’t con people and say it’s a foundation. My skin is exactly as it was before I put it on except I can feel the heavy weight of this product. Are they people saying this is great using a different product from me?
    It’s great
I totally love this product. As the other reviewers have said you have to have good skin as it will not cover and spots, blemishes or irritations. However, it minimises pores and mattifies the skin. As it dries the stickiness goes and you’re left with a lovely cooling weightless product, that provides a good base for your makeup which is perfect for me in a hot summer.
    Unfortunately very disappointing
This product is nothing like the pictures. Does not even work as a primer on me and certainly not as a foundation. Didn’t see any difference on my pores and didn’t cover my imperfections even a little! Such a shame because had good expectations, even just as a mattefying products but didn’t do the job for me.
    Not fab...
I wouldn't even use this as a primer. The Milk Hydro Grip Primer is better for my pores than this. Do not get if you have acne. Such a waste of money on a gimmick.
    Becca Zero Pigment Foundation
First off I don't consider this to be a foundation, more of a mattifying primer. A foundation I personally believe is going to give you some sort of coverage whether it be light, medium or full. This foundation does not provide any coverage at all. It is great for mattifying the skin and providing a nice base, it does smooth pores and has a nice cooling effect when applied. But... If you are prone to blemishes like I am and want to conceal them, this won't do that and it doesn't cover or improve the appearance of redness to my cheeks. You could combine it with concealer but that to me defeats the purpose of this foundation. It does hydrate the skin slightly but I personally do not notice a difference to my skin other than it takes the shine away. I think this is a definitely a love it or hate it product and will entirely depend upon your skin type and if you are blemish-free!
    I love it!
I actually really love this despite people hating on it on YouTube because they don't see a "difference". I think this is great for when you don't want to wear foundation or for people that don't wear foundation- I stopped wearing foundation and this is honestly so perfect. I don't believe this is a primer because it's not sticky and you shouldn't put anything on top of it. This evens out my skin tone and makes all redness disappear and leaves your skin looking so perfect. This really is just your skin but BETTER. It makes you your skin so powerless as well. Wear this and some cream blush and your skin is looking so beautiful. Don't buy this looking for something life changing but buy this to embrace your skin and feel more confident.
    Is more like a primer!
This product is ok but works more as a primer rather than a foundation. When I apply I noticed instantaneously leaves my skin matte and blurs a little bit. Perfect for people who don't like to wear makeup.
    Happy.
I snapped this up as soon as it launched as I like innovative products. Never expected this to conceal imperfections but rather offer a 'put together look'. It really is like a primer but I'm honestly really happy with it. It does mattify my skin in the T zone, feels weightless and yet gently hydrating. You also need a tiny bit.
    Biggest regret ever
After being furlough for 3 months, I was made redundant from the job I loved, so you can imagine the heartbreak. I decided to treat myself in the hope I'd feel a bit better and chose this new "foundation". Now: I don't ever buy new products as soon as they launch, I always wait for customers reviews to have an idea whether it's worth it (real ones, not the fake paid-for that inundate websites immediately after launches - so you can see I would wait quite sometime before buying). But considering the situation, I thought I'd be brave and give it a go. Well, all I can say is that I wasted £29 in a pot of nothing. This "foundation" is simply nothing. I obvs wasn't expecting any miracles since it's pigment-free, but I thought that mix of synthetic ingredients would be able to at least blur out minimal imperfections... Anything, really. Nope, it does absolutely nothing. No blur, no matt, nothing. So instead of making me feel better, now I feel like a fool. I'm absolutely furious with Becca and will never purchase any of their products again. A brand that does that doesn't deserve my trust. Shame on CultBeauty for promoting this con.
    Don't waste your money
This doesn't work. Sounded too good to be true and it was, definitely not a foundation!
    The Truth!
So much talk around this product and after reading a lot of negative reviews and hearing some not so great feedback, I was very intrigued to try this product. My expectations, to be honest, were pretty low. Mainly because, I have redness, visible pores, and acne scarring on my face and I know a "no pigment" foundation will not cover that up. Maybe people jumped the gun a little, and thought it would cover everything and solve all their problems?.. it won't. After cleansing and moisturizing I took a before picture, I applied the product and instantly loved the cooling feel it has like I mentioned my skin had a lot of redness to it so this felt great. The texture is light and soft. I then took an after picture and was pleasantly surprised! My skin definitely looked more even, pores looked less visible and it had taken away the shine on my face. Overall my skin looked better, no doubt about it. If you want any type of coverage with your foundation, this is NOT for you, and you will be disappointed. If you want more of a no-makeup- makeup look then I would recommend it (the pictures don't like, my skin did look better!?) If you have AMAZING skin and are happy with how your skin is.... then don't buy it, save your money and just use your everyday moisturizer and SPF!
    Because zero
Good product. Im 60 so have a few lines but my skin is generally good. I don't like coloured foundation so love this as it gives a lovely base to the powder I use and my makeup looks as good at the end of the day as it does at the beginning
    I like it
I so not wear usually a foundation. This is the perfect product for me. It balances my skintone a little and does it evenly. I like it very much.
    Not worth it
Nice on skin However anything on top will be patchy
    The Emperor's New clothes-Becca Zero
If I could have given this product a rating of 1, I would have. Not because the product is particularly bad, but because I feel I was duped. It's clearly NOT a foundation, but a rather expensive primer. That said, I found if applied with concealer, I was able to go out feeling as though I wasn't really "made up"..... something I haven't felt brave enough to do in years.
    Disappointing
I was disappointed with this so called virtual foundation. It did not add any coverage but was just like any other primer I have had. In fact, SmashBox is better. Steep price tag for what every other primer does.
    Love it!
Despite reading some not so great reviews I still wanted to try this out as I’m getting fed up of wearing foundation. I particularly thought it would be good to use while wearing a face covering and I wasn’t disappointed. I loved the feeling of it on application it’s really cooling and I didn’t find it too sticky as I buffed it on with a brush. I think the key is to not use too much to begin with and add more as you need. I loved the finish it gave nothing too amazing but it did definitely blur to give a much smoother and more even skin. I would try this under a foundation too but currently really happy using it alone with just a touch of concealer where needed. Makes me feel like I have something on my skin as I don’t really like to go completely skin bare!
    Did the job for me
I really couldn’t decide whether to buy this or not but I took the plunge and did it. I am a self-confessed sun worshiper and always feel makeup makes my skin look dull. This product was ideal for me as I had been using primers beforehand. It makes my skin look less shiny and smooths everything over. This wouldn’t work for someone with blemishes/redness/spots. I still had to use concealer to cover a spot. So only buy if you feel you have the skin for it else you will be disappointed, it doesn’t work miracles. This will definitely have a regular space in my make up bag and with being a new mum I don’t have to spend ages in the mirror every day! Win-win.
    Zero
I have sensitive skin and this stings like crazy Can’t see any differences - very sticky and doesn’t go on well
    Best Product Ever!
I have very oily skin and the Becca No Pigment Foundation is brilliant. It gives you a great matte coverage which lasts all day and looks amazingly natural.
    I like it!
I wasn’t expecting to get on with this but I really like it. I usually end up with a shiny face no matter the skincare/primer/foundation combo and I thought this would be the same. However it keeps my skin looking more matt and with less imperfections. I’ve recently used it over the new Elemis glow moisturiser and it gave a perfect subtle glow result and no shine! Yay!
    Just a primer really ...
I do like it, but you have to have perfect skin to wear it with nothing on top. I plan on using it like a primer, before concealing my dark circles and spots. I don’t wear foundation, so this is like a moisturising layer before everything else. So don’t expect miracles with this, it’s just a cooling hydrating gel really, but a really nice one.
