BECCABacklight Targeted Colour Corrector VioletPacked with neutralising, luminising pigments, BECCA’s Backlight Colour Correctors harness the principles of colour theory to disguise redness, dullness, dark circles or green-toned shadows and capillaries. Wonderfully creamy, the formula blends beautifully; adhering to specific areas of concern, while light-scattering pearls impart a subtle radiance that blurs the visibility of imperfections. Instead of masking discolouration with layers of make up, these clever correctors re-set the balance – creating a luminous, even-toned base for foundation. Pale green ‘Pistachio’ is ideal for ‘taking down’ the redness that’s most common around the nose and mouth. ‘Violet’ neutralises sallow tones and dullness (usually confined to the centre of the face). ‘Peach’ is brilliantly brightening – diminishing the visibility of dark, under-eye circles and hyperpigmentation while ‘Papaya’ neutralises green-toned shadows (common under the eyes and with tattoos). BECCA Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector Reviews

    Peach doesn't work
I have bought the peach one for face spots and it doesn't work at all. Expensive and useless.
    Waste of money
I purchased Pistachio but it's a bit of a regret. When it comes to a colour corrector, it needs to set in order to not move around when another product is applied on top of it. This product does not set, hard to cover up, it wipes off. My make up look heavy on top of it. You can not get away with using it on itself, it's not possible to blend out the green tint. It's a miss. I'd expect more from Becca.
    Good but not great
I purchased shades Papaya and Pistachio - I have very dark under eye area and adult age acne on my cheeks (lucky me...) and hoped these would help to cover those problem areas. Papaya works OK but I still need a very strong concealer to really hide the dark circles. Same with Pistachio, it definitely helps but still need lots of help from concealer to hide the redness. Do not regret buying but will try something else next time. Probably for easier skin these will be amazing.
    Not for me
I have really dark circles and I also have fine lines. Unfortunately, the Peach corrector is far too orange and far too creamy. In addition, I had no idea there is a slight shimmer in this corrector and when I blend the product in it really shows. I'm not a fan of this in products designed for the base at all. I have a yellow undertone (NC42 in Mac Studio Fix). I was certain this would end my corrector search, but I just can't get it to work for me. You would need a very heavy concealer to mask the orange underneath. However, all is not a loss. I have now re-purposed this for use as a cream blusher and it is *stunning*. I use it almost every day and I still have a hell of a lot of product left. Overall, I could've done without it, but pleased I can make use of it another way.
    LOVE IT
I received a sample of 3 of the correctors, and wow, what a difference it made, my skin looked amazing, I had never used correctors before and I can definitely tell the difference. I now want to get the full size, especially Pistachio & Violet :)
    Soooo goood
Am so happy with this. It covers my dark red spots up, leaving my skin pretty and without pores.
Nice to have but not mindblowing
Bought Papaya as I have severe, hereditary dark circles and wanted to try out colour correcting for the first time. A little goes a long way and the texture is slightly greasy. Sits well under my NARS Creamy Concealer and conceals my dark under eyes decently. Nothing groundbreaking; I don't regret buying it but I don't think it blew me away to repurchase it.
    Shimmery
I purchased Pistachio to help cover redness around my nose and chin. The texture is very creamy so it is very blendable but it doesn't seem to really set. My main issue with it is that there is noticeable shimmer in it, even when blended out and covered with concealer. The shimmer emphasises the very spots that I'm trying to conceal and as it is green I haven't found another use for it.
    Amazing corrector!
I am a make-up artist and needed a green corrector to use on my beautiful Scottish clients who suffered with redness so I purchased pistachio. I absolutely adore this product and use it on most clients. It is a fantastic and you don't need to use much of. It has a slight waxy texture but is fantastic when warmed up and used to cover any blemishes or redness. Concealer and foundation apply over this product fantastically and I will repurchase again. Beautiful Becca product!
    Great for Redness
I suffer from dermatitis and the pistachio shade has been extremely helpful with eliminating redness. It has helped restoring my confidence! Thanks Becca
